Slightly edited from a reply I've just given where my interlocutor wants to find out what my interests are:

"Ok. Here goes:

I want to turn a common tool of global discrete oppression (ie targeting individuals massively) -- that is, tech-driven longitudinal gaslighting (we call it neoterrorism on the individual) -- into a global legal figure we can pursue and convict on:

omiwan.com/the-humans

I want to achieve this in 7 years, from start to finish: PhD-level research & tools and human/machine interfaces, both.

And then, after a decade running concurrently, have the tools to eliminate from the face of the planet all the examples of crime mentioned on the following page:

crimehunch.com/crime

Just as polio seemed impossible to get rid of and yet became for a long time something we didn't have to worry about.

I am interested in eliminating zemiological behaviours just as much: this means behaviours that harm society even when not illegal for the moment. Equally, then, I want us to fight legitimate mafias -- associations, often professionalised, of secretive and ademocratic actions that influence the direction of democracies unduly -- as well as those known to be illegitimate for sure."

An open poem to Bill (& Co)

Mostly
I saw cats as sure-footed
But today
I have seen a cat stumble
And slip
And skid
Like 4x4 on deadly ice

Not even the most sure-footed
Escape life number 10
Forever

And that I feel is where we find ourselves right now
No longer needing to kowtow —
How painful it was! — with the squabbles
And rows
And fights
And cruel battles of Bill’s
Melian Dialogue

No longer applicable
No longer unavoidable
No longer inevitable

We change the whirled
Because we have been brave
Where others refused to be

You are all good, it is true
But to be honest,
We are better:
Not in morals
Not through our intelligence
Not because of a birthright
Not via a privilege
Nor a virtue

Just simply because
We believed in humanity
Where you chose to be evil

Just that, Bill

Just this

Just thus

How Brexitism has ripped the butterfly to shreds

This is like living in Yugoslavia in the 1980s. That’s what Brexit’s done to the UK we know and so have loved.

You’d go on holiday — as then you would — and one year family would ask you to take as many toilet rolls as you could, ‘cos that summer toilet rolls just couldn’t be found.

The following year it was washing-machine powder.

At the time I believed in the concept of independence: the Yugoslav state was one of the most corrupt and pernicious examples of Communism ever. And its command and control economy was as sh*te as any there’d ever been.

I was disabused of this notion and approach to national identity completely — after my own growing disenchantment with everything extreme right-wing Croatian — when I heard Gordon Brown describe the truth on Scotland’s own stab at independence. By that time I was taking a position where civic nationalism had replaced my upbringing’s full-throated and — in hindsight — destructive alternative. But even here I soon realised I was inaccurate and unhelpful. And it was Gordon Brown’s words and erudite thinking that set me to rights: the alternative to idiotic Brexitisms left right and centre is not the other end of the spectrum that may be a forced federalism — that is, a dependency that cocoons us, sometimes almost brutally, out of a humanly aspired to autonomy — but, rather, to quote Brown, an INTERdependency, where we happily and fulsomely accept, from a proud personal *and* nationally located sense of oneself, a wider and wholly including comprehension of the fact that our very humanity demands we ARE our brother, sister and all-genders’ keepers. Whatever our technological advancements; whatever the machinery progress insists we work with.

The federalism of Europe was absolutely spot-on, post-two dreadful World Wars that originated — both — in Europe itself.

However, Brexitism came from somewhere, and that somewhere was that sense of cocooning federalism I mention above. What the Brexiteers did utterly disgracefully was to argue the cocoon’s only alternative was to rip the butterfly to shreds.

That’s where we are now.

And so now, let’s return to Gordon Brown.

The benevolent dominance of empowerment

One of the things, when proposing partnerships, is to define who you’re looking for: usually because of who *you* are.

I’m looking for brave partners: I know I am too.

I’m looking for tough partners: I’ve loved this life since 2002, so I think this is also clear enough.

I’m looking for partners who enjoy the occasional tumble and rough: I do tons, ‘cos it’s the essence of spontaneous combustion.

I’m looking for neurodiverse thinking: I am this if nothing else.

I’m looking for beautiful people, inside and out, and forever in the eyes of the beholders that I treasure: I know this is true of me, because I know of many who do not see me thus.

And finally, I’m looking for people who want to end their lives working for the ’s mission, values, and sustainability.

The absolutely benevolent *dominance* of empowerment, above all: everywhere, I mean, that humans have been forced to give up on the right to thrive.

I also want to make us a lot of money; to make for a real intuition validation based on a radically new IT hierarchy of freedom.

Two paragraphs from an email I have begun to send out:

“I need two partners: one which is happy to work with hybrid licensing, can deliver beautiful wearables, and values focussing on the user more than internal stakeholders.

The other would be prepared to get really dirty in the rescoping and delivery of cutting-edge cloud services, amongst other things: we aim to turn the whole history of tech upside down with a new op-sys hierarchy designed to facilitate and enable the capture and validation of intuitive thinking.”

And so let’s be getting on with it, yeah?

Who do you work with?

It’s hard, when an event which only happens once in five hundred years takes place.

Do you work with people who have the best machines? Or do you work with the people who are the best people? And if not the former, what’s your definition of best re the latter? Best for you or best for the project? Is it even possible to disentangle the two?

Tbh, when decisions become this overwhelming, I decide I will run with my intuition. Fair enough, I guess — considering the nature of the project.

❤️ 😎

So anyways. I just have two wishes in respect of this:

1. To work with the best brains.
2. To have unfettered and absolute control of a blank cheque that sustains the last useful decade of my life’s final project: this event that takes place only once in five hundred years!

There are many ways to skin a cat. The first decision to be taken is that it needs to be done.

Once you decide that “por las buenas”, no one will ever allow you to do anything … once you learn this lesson not intellectually but emotionally … well, knowing on this matter has helped buttress my conclusions and acceptance of this essential violence of life’s condition: that power only exists if it is exerted, and no power will ever choose to voluntarily stop its exertion.

Better Biz Me:
Find
Freedom
Forever

This is what the is all about: what we are beginning to name . That we share what our deepest core is always; that we never take advantage of it to pull an utterly unreasonable fast one on our fellow societal beings. And whether these might in the future be machine or human, it really makes no difference.

Anyways. That’s all we’re about now, at last: fighting tooth and nail — as violently as yous, indeed - for an intellectual justice, if you like. The right, please understand me, for all human being to fairly access the potential fruit of their always beautiful grey cells.

All human being.

No exceptions, dear powerful. No exceptions ever. All to be counted out of the womb; all to be — one day! — counted back to the top table.

Breathless

Loosened ties
Lessened tales
Reading books
Untold wails

Tall stories
Buildings low
Lowdowns hurt
Deals hard done

Big projects
You and I
Working hard
Not to die

Loving things
The strangest of
Made and saved
The kindest us

Silly songs
Love of all
Calling out
A kinda drawl

Foreign tongues
Introduced
Mouths of passion
Never mute

Many crimes
Delivered mad
Intuition
Sadly hid

Soon to rise
Like printing-press
Revolution
No wicked rest

Gutenberg
Had nothing on this
It changed some power
But we change YOUS

No imposition
No recrimination
No blasphemy
Of inhuman society

It’s simply this
You made it fine
For me to do
What most I like

To make such rhymes
Of political good
To upturn terrorists
Who never should

Found in planes
And ranging trains
But just as likely
In chains of stores

And corporate mores
And nation-state
Of cyber trawls:
For all these sorts

Of human place
Contain fearful face
And savage instinct
And impulse ugly

To hurt a child …
To hurt the child
In you
And me

To brake
To stop
And break
To break

The only thing
Our salvation’s got
Being that fine flesh
Of noble blood

Which seeks
To help
And support
And enable

A table for all:
The top of all tree
The hot of all we
The solution of free

Just love of eternal
Between

You

And

Me

I’ve just had a thought — one of those that one feels compelled, though not obliged, to pursue.

Over the past fourteen months I have been both working in projects — the most cerebral and groundbreaking, societal-wise — and socialcare in the context of residential autism.

The socialcare experience has turned me into a human being who easily values every single fellow human he meets: that is, on their own terms first and foremost. It has manifestly changed me for the better. Before, I valued people because it was the intellectually appropriate thing to do. Now I do it because I know how truly contradictory I myself am. And so others’ contradictions inevitably become aspects to be treasured and turned around in the light of one’s own experiences, as one might the facets of a diamond gifted under a moonlight of the profoundest romance.

Whilst socialcare has changed me so deeply, in my role I now look to change everyone else. Systemically … systematically … irrevocably … irretrievably.

A small step then, beyond software scoping, design, implementation and delivery, of which there will also exist a ton. I propose that everyone who finally works for my companies spend at least a quarter of their week working in socialcare of some sort or another: exactly as I have the past fourteen months, in fact.

The salary for that quarter will come half from the service provider and half from ourselves. And in this way, as tech people out to disrupt absolutely everything we can on a global scale of the biggest that history has seen, we remain human as human can be: as human as many in tech have refused to remain.

It’s an idea I am not obliged to follow, as I said. It’s an idea I must follow.
