Just completed a solid upgrade at a local warehouse! 🚀
We replaced their old, sluggish Cat5 cabling with fresh Cat6 LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) – purple for easy spotting and extra safety in an industrial space.
Faster speeds, better reliability for inventory systems & devices, and much safer if there's ever a fire risk. No more bottlenecks or random dropouts!

Big shoutout to the legends on site today!

We almost got the entire crew in one frame this afternoon – close enough for a cracking group photo in the warehouse! From left to right: the guys who make it all happen – building, installing, problem-solving and keeping everything flying like pros.

Hard hats, hi-vis, a few flexes and big smiles 😄. Love seeing this international crew come together – different backgrounds, same top-notch attitude and graft.

Road Trip! 🚐 We headed over the Pennines to Yorkshire this week to give a fantastic day nursery a much-needed network upgrade.

In a modern nursery, reliable connectivity is vital for digital learning journals, instant communication, and safety. Patchy Wi-Fi just doesn't cut it anymore. 👶💻

Here’s a look at what we installed:

🛠️ The Engine Room: We tidied up the comms cabinet and installed a new Aruba Instant On PoE switch. This runs the whole show, sending power and data up to the ceiling devices without needing messy power sockets.

📶 Wireless That Works: We mounted Aruba Access Points high up on the ceilings. This ensures killer Wi-Fi coverage for staff tablets and keeps the kit well out of reach of curious little hands!

📞 Crystal Clear Calls: In the hallway, we installed a central Yealink DECT base station. This means staff cordless phones now have rock-solid signal anywhere in the building—from the play area to the kitchen.

A neat, professional job and one less thing for the nursery managers to worry about.

📡 New Network Install for a Local Alternative Education Provision

We’ve just finished a tidy little project for a small alternative education provision that needed a more reliable setup to support staff and learners.

The job included:

🔧 Moving the existing router to a better location and mounting it properly
🔐 Installing a Paxton door access system for secure entry
📶 Adding a ceiling-mounted wireless access point for solid Wi-Fi coverage
🗄️ Cabling everything neatly back to a hidden comms cabinet in a cupboard

The result? A clean, secure, and reliable network that works exactly the way it should — without being in the way.

With the new school term just around the corner, we were called out to carry out an urgent fibre repair at a local school.

🔧 Our engineers quickly traced the fault, spliced and re-terminated the damaged fibre, and tested everything to make sure the network was running smoothly again.

📡 The school is now fully connected and ready for staff and students on day one of the new term.

We’ve been in Adlington this week, helping a client get their network running at its best with a professional CAT6 copper termination.

It’s not just about making things look good (although… look at those tidy cables 😍) — it’s about creating a network that’s:

Our engineering team have been hard at work in a huge Southampton warehouse this week, rolling out a full IT upgrade.

📸 Fibre Termination:
Spot those magenta OM4 cables? That’s our fibre, neatly dressed and terminated for maximum performance and reliability.

🔖 Temporary Labels Everywhere:
On a site this size, clear labelling is a must! You’ll see numbered tags and temporary signs everywhere, making it easy for us (and future engineers) to identify each link and panel. Once we’ve tested everything, these get swapped for permanent labels—no guesswork, just a tidy, future-ready setup.

🔌 CAT6a Patch Panels:
It’s not just about fibre—this rack is getting CAT6a copper too, ready for everything from Wi-Fi to workstations. Mixing fibre and CAT6a means this warehouse is set for whatever the future holds!

🛠 Tidy Cabling, Happy Engineers:
We take pride in our cable management—because a tidy comms room is a happy comms room!
