We’ve passed the halfway mark of The Cyber Helpline's month-long, around-the-world, Cyber Step Challenge and can you believe we’ve clocked nearly 4 million steps between our two teams at NG-IT!!??👟

And that’s not all. There are over 400 people in total taking part in the challenge and together, we’ve clocked up a whopping 56,369,451 steps. This covers a total distance of nearly 40,000km!! which means, we’ve walked from London, UK to Easter Island off the coast of Chile! Next stop, Valparaíso…

Meanwhile, the competition between Birney’s Boot Blazers and Lloyd’s Legends shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.

At this point, we suspect not even a trip to the kitchen is being made without a step tracker firmly strapped to our wrist! 😂

A massive thank you to everyone who has donated, shared our posts, and cheered the teams on so far.

We’re halfway through, but we’ve still got ground to cover towards our £2,000 goal. Can you help us get there?

What stood out at .NEXT On Tour London?​

A couple of weeks ago, our team headed to London for .NEXT On Tour with HYCU, and there was plenty to get us talking.​

From the sessions on stage to the conversations happening throughout the day, a number of topics stood out and gave us plenty to think about. But if we had to narrow it down, these are three that really caught our attention:​

1️⃣ VMware migration remains a key priority​

2️⃣ Nutanix has become a true hybrid cloud platform​

3️⃣ Flexibility and choice matter more than ever​

Yesterday, some of the NG-IT team headed down to London with HYCU, Inc. for .NEXT on Tour.

It was great to catch up with some familiar faces, meet plenty of new ones and get involved in some really interesting conversations.

There was lots to take away from the day, so we’re going to have a bit of a debrief and then we'll share some of the things that stood out to us over the coming days. Watch this space! 👀
