Amazing day last week at the Chester Races with our partners at 11:11 Systems! 🐎✨

It was a lovely day at the festival chalets, enhanced by the elegance of Ladies Day – complete with not only the lovely decor and catering, but also the opportunity to step away from the everyday to strengthen relationships and celebrate progress! We received the 11:11 Systems Innovator Award 2025 and we’re proud to be recognised for the work we do together and what we continue to achieve as a partnership.

Thanks to everyone who attended and to the staff at the racecourse for an amazing day. We look forward to doing it all again next year!

It's World Backup Day!

Backups exist to protect organisations from data loss and operational disruption. Without reliable backups, even a small incident can escalate into a major business crisis.

Common causes of data loss include:
Ransomware attacks - encrypting company data
Accidental deletion - by users or administrators
Hardware or infrastructure failure
Software bugs or corrupted systems
Natural disasters or power outages
Malicious insiders or compromised accounts

In each of these situations, backups provide the safety net that allows an organisation to restore systems and continue operating.

So, don’t just store your data. Test your recovery, protect your backups, and make sure your business can keep running no matter what.

Great session in Birmingham yesterday for our Under Ransom event with Arctic Wolf, hosted at the Griffiths Waite (GW) office!

We dug into evolving ransomware trends, attacker behaviour, and the critical role of cyber incident‑response readiness and cyber insurance in reducing risk and supporting recovery.

A huge thank you to Verity Cummins at Flavoured Fork Ltd for the incredible lunch and drinks selection 🥤🥗🍔 It kept everyone fuelled for a very insightful afternoon!

A big shout-out to all our guests for making it such an engaging discussion, and an extra thank you to Ian Heathcock and Michael Barratt at Griffiths Waite for being fantastic hosts. And of course, to our speakers and organisers across NG‑IT and Arctic Wolf.
