AI 0 - Designer 1

Here an example of some work I did last year as AI was making inroads into the design world and clients were experimenting with logo design.

Lizzie came to me as she liked my work. Nice.

The initial examples formed the brief of what she didn’t like. Too Fussy, not easy to read or translate across different platforms. Wrong colours.

Off course every time you ask AI to update something it doesn’t always get it right or even changes the concept completely.

The first image is a final signed off test drive of the logo with supporting colour palette.

New Logo for Connecting Experts

I recently had the pleasure of designing a new logo for Connecting Experts.

The specialist search recruitment agency support some of the world's most exciting businesses, across Technology, CleanTech and Industrial spaces.

Connecting Experts are expanding and opening an office in Austin, Texas and therefore were looking for a rebrand of a previous logo to reflect the new beginning.

Really enjoyed creating this logo. I think it's very unique and stays true to the brand and what they want to be recognised for. Looking forward to seeing the new logo across their advertising, merchandise and all the way in Texas!

Bespoke logo design for Sophie’s swim school.

This involved adapting a script font to include flowing water giving the logo unique character.

The first image shows how logo designs are presented through the development process. A logo needs to work in different scenarios during the growth of a brand so exploring these different colour ways can ensure they work.

Volspec rebrand

Volspec are Marine and Industrial engineers based in Tollesbury, Essex.

As part of their 50 year anniversary plans the office went through a major refurb. As part of this they commissioned Crisp Design to work on the rebrand.

With 50 years of history there were previous versions of their branding that needed to be considered.

The project included logo design, photography, stationery, exhibition graphics and sourcing, vehicle graphics and print advertising.

The photos show their new reception refit with supplied vinyl graphics, full wall coverage of Saltmarsh aerial photography.

Replacement signage for the Green Man in Little Braxted, Essex.

The surface of the old sign had peeled away from the surface to the point where is was no longer legible.

The issue was the artwork for the Green Man illustration no longer existed digitally.

No problem.

The process was to recapture the original illustration from the painted swing sign board. So this involved standing on top of a 6ft ladder with a camera to ensure the image could be captured squarely.

From there the design and artwork was created to size, printed locally and installed yesterday.

Happy customer ✔️ better roadside visibility ✔️

TAB FAB

New website launched earlier this week for local sheet metal fabricator based in Maldon.

It demonstrates there capabilities within various industry sectors and the services they provide.

The site was a bespoke design that was then built with the WordPress platform to allowing editing of content and adding of new gallery images, services and brochures.

They plan to add social media and blog articles to their marketing in the near future.
