Now let’s get into the process!

When it comes to wrap & PPF, it’s all about how far you can go with the film to get the coverage as close to paint as possible when the car goes back together. Fewer edges on show means less chance of edges being lifted in washing and maintenance or dirt building up.

Our boy Harry Pippard is always working hard getting the cars dismantled and in the best position for our team to start laying film. The goal is always full coverage, as close to OEM as possible.

It’s even more crucial with PPF, as the edges are more prominent and show that bit more than on a wrap.
When it’s done right, coloured paint protection is the best product on the market, hands down. Full protection and a full new look in one. Your original paint sits underneath, untouched, exactly as it left the factory.

Factory Satin grey G-Wagon next up for full colour change PPF including door shuts and returns.

Before any film goes near the car, this is what day one looks like👇👇👇

- Full strip wash + decontamination

- Paint and bodywork inspection, panel by panel

- Every mark and defect logged before we start

- Second decon and solvent wipe down

- Wheels off, inner arches cleaned properly to ensure no contaminates can ruin the install

Sounds excessive. It isn’t.
Film magnifies whatever sits underneath it. Leave an imperfection in the paint and it’s locked in there forever.

A full day of prep even before the first panel of film goes on the car. Trust, it’s worth every minute.
