The fabulous inaugural Kent Apprenticeship Awards 2026 ✔️

There's always a great sense of achievement when months of planning become a successful event, and last week's Kent Apprenticeship Awards was no exception.

The evening was a powerful reminder of the impact apprenticeships have on individuals, businesses and industries across Kent. From those taking their first steps in their careers to employers investing in the next generation of talent, the stories shared throughout the night highlighted the dedication, resilience and ambition that apprenticeships help to foster, and we were honoured to be a part of it.

Elevating these awards from their beginnings as the East Kent Apprenticeship Awards was so exciting. Being able to welcome the colleges as the founders as well as other training providers and businesses who all have a passion for skills development has created something really special.

A huge thank you to everyone who played a part in bringing the event to life with us, including the sponsors, partners, and founders, and of course, a special thanks also to the team at Gillingham Football Club for their hospitality, venue and catering, helping to create a fantastic experience for all guests.

Most importantly, congratulations to all of the finalists and winners. Celebrating talent, ambition, and achievement is what these events are all about 👏

Today's the day! 🎉

The team is on the move as we head to the venue for the very first Kent Apprenticeship Awards.

With staging, branding, production equipment and all the final event details being transported and set up, it's a busy day as we prepare for an evening dedicated to celebrating apprenticeship excellence across Kent.

We're looking forward to seeing months of planning come together and creating a fantastic experience for all guests tonight.

Not all support looks the same and during Mental Health Awareness Week, that matters more than ever 🤝

We’re honoured to be working with ellenor, a charity that provides vital hospice care and bereavement support to individuals and families across Kent and Bexley. Their work goes far beyond clinical care. It’s about compassion, dignity and helping people navigate some of life’s most difficult moments.

As creative partner, we’re providing our time and skills to support their upcoming Bear Hunt trail launching this July, a project designed to open up new ways for people to connect, reflect and get involved in supporting ellenor’s work. We can’t wait to be able to share our bear with you too!

Last week, we were proud to support our client Head In The Game as KMTV joined them to film a feature highlighting the brilliant work they’re doing in the community.

With Mental Health Awareness Week taking place this week, it’s a timely reminder of the power of sport, connection and inclusive spaces in supporting positive mental wellbeing. Our MD, Mike, met up with the talented artist, Mark Whitehouse, who is designing and painting Pillory Barn’s bear for the ellenor art trail launching this summer.

This special collaboration is a wonderful opportunity to support a meaningful cause while celebrating creativity within our community.

White, identical and full of potential…and among them is our very own bear, ready to join the adventure.

Schools, artists, and community groups across Dartford will bring these bears to life. Brushes, paint, and imagination will transform each one into a unique piece of public art 🎨

This trail is about more than colour. Every bear helps raise funds for ellenor, Dartford’s local hospice charity, supporting children, adults, and families across North Kent & Bexley 💛

We’re Going on a Bear Hunt continues and we can’t wait to see our bear’s personality, creativity, and community spirit shine.

Founded by East Kent Colleges Group, MidKent College and North Kent College, the awards bring together education and industry from across the county to shine a spotlight on talent, ambition and achievement.
