🚨 CASE FILE 001: THE INVESTIGATION BEGINS

The sleepy village of Shell-on-the-Wold has been rocked by the suspicious death of Mr A N Body.

As DCI Claire Voyant begins her investigation, it seems our victim had been poking his nose into something rather interesting.

The Golden Pistachio. 🌰

An ancient relic kept at Kernel Manor, said to bring extraordinary good fortune to whoever possesses it.

Each year, one lucky villager is entrusted with the relic for 7 days as part of the annual Harvest Festival, and their name is recorded in the parish register. When their 7 days are up, the Pistachio is returned to Kernel Manor under the Alibi family’s watchful eye.

A charming little village tradition.

Except Mr Body had been asking rather a lot of questions about the relic, its history and the people who'd looked after it.

And now he's dead.

Coincidence? DCI Voyant isn't convinced.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS

MURDER IN SHELL-ON-THE-WOLD

Residents of the normally peaceful village of Shell-on-the-Wold in Nuttinghamshire, awoke this morning to shocking news.

Local visitor Mr A N Body has been found dead inside the church vestry.

Police have confirmed that the death is being treated as suspicious.

Five villagers are currently assisting detectives with their enquiries, as DCI Claire Voyant begins what is already being described as the village's most mysterious case in decades.

The investigation is now underway...
