Here is a taster of what are we going to be using at the NWAS Cranage 27/28th June 2026.
2 systems this year, the main system will be using the incredible Fyne Audio F703SP loudspeakers with additional SuperTrax - super tweeters!
The F703SP, an evolution of Fyne Audio’s F703, encapsulates cutting-edge F1 Series technology in a floorstanding speaker designed for audiophiles. Built in Scotland, it incorporates a 250mm IsoFlare point source driver akin to the F1-10, with a vast Neodymium HF magnet system and a 3” titanium dome, delivering an audio experience with significantly reduced distortion and a more consistent frequency response. The crossover has been meticulously redesigned, optimised through both computer modelling and listening sessions, and is equipped with high grade Claritycap capacitors and Neotech PC-OCC wiring for unparalleled transparency. The speaker’s terminals now feature high-quality gold-plated WBT Nextgen 0703 connectors, and a cryogenic treatment of the crossover in Fyne Audio’s own facilities further enhances signal clarity. Additionally, the F703SP is mounted on a heavy F1 grade machined aluminium platform with M12 threaded support cones for superior stability and precise low-frequency detail, ensuring the speaker stands firm and delivers sound that captivates with its power and dynamic range.

Our innovative time-aligned, omnidirectional super tweeter ensures that the energy reflected within a space harmonises with the direct sound, enhancing the perceived spaciousness and airiness of any audio setup. Available in Walnut to match our Vintage Series or Piano Gloss Black, SuperTrax elevates your listening experience beyond the conventional, by broadening your speakers’ frequency response well beyond the typical range of human hearing. This broadening adds to your music a heightened sense of tonal fidelity, enhanced dynamic detail, and an expanded spatial feel, even amplifying the richness of the lower frequencies. The common practice of integrating a subwoofer to boost bass and improve musical phase accuracy is mirrored in the high-frequency domain by our super tweeter. It’s this augmentation of phase accuracy across the spectrum that maintains the integrity of the music’s harmonics, playing a crucial role in what we “feel”.
