Did you know a directory change on an Ultra panel can now be handled from the MyComelit app?

Using Bluetooth, the existing directory is copied from the panel into the app, where the resident details can be amended before the updated directory is transferred back.

The process means the panel itself does not need to be opened to make a directory change. A building manager can update the information from the app, rather than needing an engineer to access the panel and make the change manually.

Meet Jacopo colombo, who introduces our new range of beam detectors, offering four models covering both addressable and conventional applications and optical ranges of up to 120 metres.

Alignment is supported by an integrated laser, followed by automatic calibration based on the distance between the detector and reflector. Automatic compensation also accounts for changes such as minor structural movement and dust deposits on the optical components.

The addressable models connect directly to the Logifire loop, with power, alarms, faults and real-time data all managed through the same connection.

Across the range, IP65 protection and EN 54-12 certification support use across different installation environments.

In his latest tutorial, Pete Kernachan provides a step-by-step technical guide to connecting a GDX Next handset to HEU cabling.

He demonstrates the connections and wiring involved in a new installation, helping to ensure reliable communication and proper system performance.

Pete also covers retrofit applications, looking at how existing wiring can be used when connecting a GDX Next handset to an existing system. He explains the specific connection considerations when working with cabling that is already in place.

We believe door entry monitors should work with the way a building is used, the people who use it and the style of the individual property.

✨ Our 7TOP combines a 7-inch touchscreen with mechanical buttons, giving residents a choice of touch and physical controls.
✨ LOGOS Wi-Fi connects to the Comelit app, supporting remote entry management, while LOGOS Handset provides traditional handset design and video door entry.
✨ LOGOS Hands-Free 5” has a 5-inch video screen for residents who prefer hands-free communication.

Selected models also support NFC configuration, which can simplify setup during installation.

And we can work with installers and specifiers to select the monitor based on the requirements of the residential application, including the preferred method of operation, connectivity and overall design.
