Thank you to our customers who recently joined us on a visit to Bulgaria for a closer look at activity across our wider manufacturing and partner network.

Time at the TELETEK facility offered insight into production and product development, as well as the collaboration behind ongoing innovation. Conversations throughout the visit naturally focused on current industry challenges and how solutions continue to evolve around customer needs.

In Sofia, the group was welcomed with traditional Bulgarian hospitality, including local food, live music and folk dancing, which brought real energy to the evening and a memorable cultural experience.

As part of our charity activity this year, our Manchester and Luton teams are taking on the Great Comelit-PAC Charity Walk 2026 in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

From 11 to 22 May, the team goal is to cover 1,118 miles, representing the approximate distance from Comelit HQ in Italy to Great Ormond Street Hospital, stopping at both our Manchester and Luton offices along the route.

To help get the challenge underway, both offices took part in a 30-minute walk around their local areas, alongside a few team activities including Purdle and a quiz.
It has been a great way to bring everyone together while supporting an important cause.

From whisky tasting to go-kart racing, GDX Next made its first impression.

Recently, we hosted three VIP customer events, giving attendees an early insight into GDX Next.

Alongside product updates and conversations around the future of door entry, security and access management, each event included a local activity to bring customers together outside of the day-to-day.

In Scotland, guests took part in a whisky tasting experience, while our Manchester event headed to the indoor go-karting track. For customers in Surrey and the South, the final event finished with outdoor go-karting.

The events were a great opportunity to connect with customers across different regions, share more about GDX Next, and introduce the developments shaping this latest door entry solution.

When was the last time you paid attention to your breathing?

Our teams in Manchester and Luton recently took part in a guided breathwork workshop, focusing on how conscious breathing can support physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

The session introduced simple techniques to help regulate breathing in moments of stress or pressure. It created space to step away from the usual pace of the day and build a clearer understanding of how breathing patterns influence how we feel and respond.

A useful pause thanks to Stress Awareness Month, and a reminder that sometimes the most effective place to start is with the basics.
