This older Samsung LCD TV came in for a washed out picture with strange colours. It was repaired at component level by replacing the 48 pin gamma correction IC as seen in the picture this is quite a small component so some delicate soldering under the microscope was required. A very nice picture was obtained after fitting. The owner loves the TV and was very happy it was saved from landfill. It’s now back in their living room and will provide many more years of viewing pleasure. The mixing desk shown required some new sliders and a couple of rotary potentiometers as these had their shafts snapped off.The amplifier had no output from one channel. All fixed and back with their owners.

A few recent examples of what we repair. LG Sub that was dead no green light. A pulse PA system with distorted sound. A Vocopro Karaoke with faulty CD drawer and a kids karaoke that would not turn on. All fixed and back with their happy owners.

Some recent repairs include Allen and heath mixing desk where one of the 500w amps had blown up. A Fenton party speaker only loud buzz repaired. A couple of active speakers and lighting unit which was dead and a twin CD player.

Some recent repair jobs include Ammoon mixer various components burned out. Toshiba portable TV that was dead repaired at component level. Panasonic DVD HDD VCR error code showing. Party box speaker with loud crackle and banging after a while in use. Fellowes shredder dead. Another snapped off aerial socket and a Denon DHTT110 that needed 8 tiny components replacing as in the picture. All fixed and back with their happy owners.

Some recent repair jobs include music center from 1978 JBL Soundbar a Samsung 65” curved TV with a dark band on the picture caused by a burnt off LED so fitted new backlights.Also SMD component level replacement repair to a power supply.

A few jobs from this week include Pure evoke all in one Dab radio that was dead. A roof mount DVD player that had been wired up wrong went up in smoke and damaged internal microchip now all fixed. A panasonic 65” TV that needed new backlight strips. All up and running.

Some recent repairs include: Technics Amplifier with no sound, part of a complete system. Yamaha home theatre receiver intermittent won’t power on. QTX active speaker back up battery replacement. Sony stereo clicking and DAB radio not tuning. All repaired and back with happy customers.

This TV had its aerial socket snapped off. Have seen them stuck on with sellotape and Blu tack before but that never ends well. This is how it’s done properly.

Beatbox successfully repaired. Came in totally dead. Power supply board fixed and back with very happy customer.

Another LG TV with backlight failure. A full set of new strips fitted and what a difference it makes.

Customer sent this pic of 65” Samsung QLED dark on left side. Backlights failed on left side so fitted new set of right and left strips. Perfect picture now and much cheaper than £1200 for a new QLED TV
