Crosswires Consultancy Ltd is a small company - we are just a husband and wife team, plus Lizzie has her own small business which means between us we do a lot!
But we still like to give back to our local community.
We actually met through voluntary work with St John Ambulance - a very long time ago!
These days Brian coaches cricket and swimming multiple times a week and Lizzie helps with the cricket admin, sits on the local swim club committee and gives her time to a local museum where she gets to indulge her passion for art and learning (as she is the least sporty person you will ever meet!).
So whether it’s a local sports team, a museum, a first aid organisation, a local food bank or one of the other countless organisations that could not run without volunteers, if you have just a little bit of time to give then why not get in touch with them and see if you can make a difference?!
Just like most volunteers we don’t generally publicise what we do but we figure if our post today could inspire just one person then we will shout it from the roof tops and if you volunteer your time then we tip our hats to you 🎩
