Fun fact: our Lead Web & UI Designer, Justin, earned his Motorcycle A licence this February!
It’s safe to say everyone, but especially motorcycle riders like Justin, knows that riding on British roads comes with its own particular set of dangers and hazards.
Which got Justin and his motorcyclist friends thinking… what if things could be better?
They dove into the world of road safety campaigns and found a lot of “don’t do this, don’t do that” energy, which can alienate riders.
As Justin puts it: “Crashes aren't always about reckless driving, they're about moments. One split second changes everything.”
Justin and friends Ben, Ady and Paul, who all share a passion for motorbike riding, teamed up to create One Split Second.
It’s a UK motorcycle safety initiative that ditches the preaching and speaks rider-to-rider. It’s practical, honest, and built for motorcyclists at every level.
“We’ve built a brand and marketing strategy designed to make safer riding second nature, and we’re in the process of talking to heavyweights like RoSPA, BikeSafe and IAM to spread the word.”
The mission? Sharper habits, calmer decisions, fewer needless tragedies.
