When the admin opens the Drone Companion page and finds this... 👀, We can talk about features all day, but feedback like this means far more.

David is currently flying in Greece and shared that Drone Companion's Flying Conditions Assessment correctly highlighted wind gust concerns before take-off. During the flight he experienced exactly what was predicted, including occasional gimbal movement.

Well I am in Greece and had the below warning and was absolutely spot on was the warning with some wind warning and gimbal movement at times. Great app wherever you go.

Hi Everybody! We’ve only got the last few spots remaining for our Android Drone360 testing group…

Just to clarify that this isn’t really an unfinished “beta” app. Drone360 is already fully functional, live on iOS and actively being used by drone flyers now. We’re simply expanding Android testing across more devices before the wider public release.

Drone360 (powered by Drone Companion) is built specifically for 360 drone photography.

If you’ve ever uploaded a drone panorama and it appeared as a flat image instead of a proper interactive 360 photo… this is exactly what Drone360 fixes.

Drone360:
• Preserves the GPano metadata so platforms recognise your photos as true 360 images
• Includes built-in presets + 9 manual adjustments (brightness, contrast, saturation & more)
• Lets you add watermarks to 360 panoramas
• Preview, edit and export without breaking the 360 format
• Even handles DJI Avata 360 panoramas correctly

Even if you don’t shoot 360 panoramas, it can still be used as a simple photo editor for your normal drone shots too.

OK… we tried to quietly sneak these in, but you noticed !

Over the last few days, a lot of Drone Companion users spotted that we quietly added two new features and honestly… the feedback has been insanely positive.

🌧️ Live precipitation radar
Most weather apps just give you a % chance of rain. We wanted something more useful for drone flying, so you can now actually see where rain is and where it’s moving before heading out.

📍 Flyspots
We’ve also launched Flyspots, a new way to discover and share great places to fly with other drone flyers.

One of the smartest parts is that Drone Companion can automatically place spots on the map using the GPS / EXIF data from your drone photos. In many cases, just upload a photo and Drone Companion will work out where it was taken automatically

We know the Flyspots map will feel a little quiet at first… but every community starts somewhere and we’re excited to watch this grow over time.
