𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀.

This is one of the very first 𝗶𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁 installations, which was sold by our Turkish reseller - Ariş Makina Stylecad - to a 𝗰𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 manufacturer in Istanbul back in 2013.

Those familiar with today's iDigit may notice something unusual: there are no circles.

This was our original board design, before we introduced the circular markers used on the current design.

It is still in service 𝟭𝟯 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 later, doing the same job it was bought to do and continuing to provide value to its owner.

🆕 New in iDigit: Quilt / Cross-Hatch Feature

We’ve added a new Quilt / Cross-Hatch feature to iDigit, making it easier to digitize patterns that contain repeated stitched or marked line structures.

This is particularly useful for clients working with upholstery and leather, where quilted and cross-hatched designs are commonly used across:

🚗 Automotive interiors – seats, door panels and trim
👞 Footwear – leather panels and decorative stitching
👜 Luxury leather goods – bags, accessories and other crafted products
🛋️ Furniture & upholstery – cushions, seating and upholstered panels

Instead of creating these lines individually, iDigit can generate the required quilt / cross-hatch structure directly within the digitized pattern, helping to make the CAD preparation process faster and more efficient.

👋 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁.

We've recently installed an iDigit XL system for one of our recent clients in Lincolnshire, replacing their old manual table digitiser that they used to digitise car mat templates.🚗 🛻

The wall-mounted 240x150 cm magnetic iDigit board provides sufficient digitising surface for large car mat templates, such as trunk mats.

The iDigit board has been fixed on the wall in the hall to save space, which holds paper templates and actual mats alike, thanks to the extra strong magnets.

They can now digitise their templates in iDigit and export them in various formats including DXF at ease.

Being able to create a database of finalised & approved car mat designs for later use is equally important, as it eliminates repetitive digitising work and reliance on physical templates.

It’s always rewarding to see iDigit being used not just in industry, but in the education of the next generation of fashion professionals.
