A few months ago, I announced the relaunch of Goods We Like. A lot has happened since then - both personally and in the world around us. With everything that has happened, the team took a step back and reassessed the impact we wanted to make on the world. After many wonderful and difficult conversations, we have made the decision that Goods We Like is not the right way forward for us.
Instead we would like to introduce you to something new. Something we are really excited about. Something we believe will inspire the change we want to see in the world. Welcome to .less.but.better
Our ambition has always been to help you discover brands that design with people and planet in mind. That don’t think in cycles but create products that are made to last a lifetime. Buy less but better will continue to stand by these brands.
We will start by focusing our time, energy and efforts on raising awareness for some of the most important global challenges: over-consumption, waste, pollution, careless and excessive use of natural resources to name a few.
Change is needed from all of us. And the first step in tackling these challenges is to simply be more aware of our actions.
To be more conscious of the choices we make. To live better, with less, that lasts longer. To think twice. To buy once. To think long-term. To pursue less. To value quality over quantity. To buy less but better.
I am proud to share with you that we are launching buylessbutbetter.org. And we have made it our mission to fight blind consumerism.
