Little Black Door LITTLE BLACK DOOR - THE SOCIAL WARDROBE app to see, style and share with friends and your fashion co In 2018 we became conscious of our worsening wardrobe ways.

As fashion-loving founders we were showing the same behaviours; overbuying, investing in luxury pieces, but too frequently fashion-fixing on cheaper fast fashion. Moreover not really knowing what we had; first thinking to buy rather than borrow. We realised that we were part of a bigger problem, that we were a part of a generation of fashion over-consumers. We knew that this couldn’t continue and

fortuitously the world seems “over” our over-consumption ways too. We have a vision to create better behaviour with fashion, so we’ve designed a next gen digital wardrobe called Little Black Door “LBD” that lets users do just that. Taking the best of social networking mechanics, we use wardrobe data (like selfies/e-receipts) to help take wardrobes online and connect friends and followers around their own fashion. LBD gives a user a single way to discover their own fashion and the fashion of others. It's a world of wardrobes created by the LBD community; a place where wardrobes can be shared on and offline, where users can upstyle with friends and experts.

We are in love with the Hermès Oran Sandals and this year’s collection is a colourful one! A wardrobe investment that you will wear for years. They're chic, classy, and perfect for everyday wear.

First debuted in 1997, when renowned luxury shoe designer Pierre Hardy created the Hermès Oran sandals. In his own words he envisioned it to be a simple and almost invisible flat, “like a bare foot with something painted on it”.

A recent study, The State of Fashion 2022, from informed us that in the US, 40% of women and 35% of men are a different size than in 2019!

There lies a great opportunity to make money from the items you no longer need, and buy new wardrobe staples that can last.

When sifting through your wardrobe, use this time to add items to your LBD wardrobe. You can always use the “I have this” button. See if any of your items have already been catalogued in our wardrobe web and add that way. It is so EASY.

If you thought the Hacker Project was an insane collaboration, has done it again with North Face X Gucci.

As Gucci put it, “The collaborative collection returns with a second chapter that stays true to its core of celebrating the spirit of exploration in all its forms. Whether a literal discovery of places or cultures or the more metaphorical kind, this collection once again draws from values of self-discovery and self-expression that define both brands”.

Such devastating news to read that Virgil Abloh of Louis Vuitton and Off-White has passed away. He will be remembered as one of the most influential fashion designers of his time, as both the founder of Off-White and the Creative Director of Menswear for Louis Vuitton.

He battled a rare and aggressive form of cancer, cardiac angiosarcoma. According to his Instagram account. “He chose to endure his battle privately since his diagnosis in 2019, undergoing numerous challenging treatments, all while helming several significant institutions that span fashion, art, and culture,” the statement reads. “Through it all, his work ethic, infinite curiosity, and optimism never wavered. Virgil was driven by his dedication to his craft and to his mission to open doors for others and create pathways for greater equality in art and design. He often said, “Everything I do is for the 17-year-old version of myself,” believing deeply in the power of art to inspire future generations.”

A complete loss to the fashion industry.
