Installation Steps
1. Mount and stack 2 Cisco 9300 switches in the network rack.
2. Mount 2 PA 440 Firewalls in the Tray.
3. Label the devices according to the names shared. (will be shared once the project starts).
4. Connect Power Cables.
5. Connect other network cables according to the port connection document shared. (Doc will be shared once the project starts)
Remote Access to IFS Engineer
1. Prepare console cable and laptop with terminal emulation software (PuTTY, SecureCRT, or equivalent).
2. Coordinate remote session with IFS Network Engineer (via Microsoft Teams or similar)

IT uninstall 26/01 - Half day, 2 engineers due to FOS screens.
Boxes and packaging to be provided by the engineer (quantities TBC) - a quote will be needed once we have sizes and quantities.
Engineers to securely pack all deinstalled kit and put 2 labels on each packed box (one stating contents and quantities, one with address in the event of loss, please see attached documents)
Not clear if ladder is required and available or will need to be brought - a quote may be needed (we will know more once we get more SOW details)

Engineers will require the following tools listed below:

Phillips and Torx screwdriver set
Side cutter
Adjustable Spanner
Pliers
T10 Torx bit/driver
Ratchet Set
PPE
Courier collection will be organized by the store the next day.

The customer is a very big and important client for us.

The current plan is that the router kit will be sent to the engineer, but cabling should be sourced locally.
Site photos are attached and the engineer will be asked to join a briefing call in advance of visit and will also be supported via Facetime call with the English speaking customer whilst on site.

With this in mind, it will be necessary for the engineer to have a command of English.

Tools:

The engineer will require standard toolkit, cordless drill with masonry drill bit and step ladders to enable access of total height not exceeding 2.5 meters.
The engineer will need to have the required tools and skills for terminating the Ethernet cable run.

Removing and replacing a storage controller
Procedure
Power down the compute module.
Remove the compute module.
Place the compute module on a flat, level work surface.
Remove the access panel.
Remove all drives from the drive cage.
Remove the front panel/drive cage assembly.
Remove the storage controller.
Results
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure. Then, reapply the server profile.
ALL appropriate tools/equipment should always be carried by FE needed including:
1. Laptop computer
2. Voltmeter
3. Standard communication cables (Cisco console cable, Ethernet Straight-through and crossover cable, Null Modem Serial Cable, and a USB to serial cable/adapter)
