⚡ Is your website slow for visitors in Bangladesh?

A server hosted overseas typically gives Bangladeshi visitors 80-150 ms latency before the page even starts to load. A server peered directly with BDIX can bring that under 5 ms.

🚨 MikroTik admins: check your routers today.

Attackers are taking over MikroTik routers through SSH with no password and no SSH key. The attack is called "MikroTrick" (CVE-2026-67279 + CVE-2026-86060). CERT Polska traced attacks to September 2, one day before MikroTik shipped the fix, and CISA has confirmed it's being exploited.

We went through every RouterOS CVE from the past year (23 of them) and checked each one against the official CVE records, MikroTik's changelogs, CERT Polska and CISA.

✅ Copy-paste commands to lock it down today

Quick fix: upgrade to RouterOS 7.24.4 (or 7.23.7 long-term / 6.49.22 on v6), and don't leave SSH open to the internet.

14 Years In. Lesson one, and everything else sits on top of it.

When we started in 2012, most people we spoke to had never bought hosting in their life. They had a shop, a portfolio, an idea. They wanted it online by Friday. The word "server" meant nothing to them and it did not need to.

Lesson one was that nobody wakes up wanting hosting. They want the site to work and the hosting to be invisible. Every technical decision we have made since comes back to that. Pure SSD everywhere. LiteSpeed tuning. Clustered failover DNS. cPanel on every account, fully managed, so nobody has to learn Linux to publish a blog post.

URGENT — Security Advisory

A privilege-escalation vulnerability has been identified in the LiteSpeed User-End cPanel Plugin. This issue is separate from the one patched last month, and is being actively exploited in the wild. A CVE is forthcoming.

Affected: LiteSpeed User-End cPanel Plugin prior to 2.4.8

Not affected: LiteSpeed WHM Plugin (the parent plugin)

Status: Fix available

ACTION REQUIRED (immediately)

We strongly recommend you urgently upgrade to:

LiteSpeed WHM Plugin v5.3.2.1 (bundled w/ cPanel plugin v2.4.8).



Alternative: Uninstall the Vulnerable Plugin

If you cannot upgrade immediately, please run the following command as root to remove the plugin:

/usr/local/lsws/admin/misc/lscmctl cpanelplugin --uninstall



This will remove the vulnerable User-End plugin from existing accounts and prevent it from being installed on new accounts.

Security experts revealed a serious 18-year-old flaw in NGINX, one of the world's most popular web servers. The heap overflow bug, called CVE-2026-42945, hits versions 0.6.27 through 1.30.0 and can let hackers run code remotely if rewrite and set directives are used. Researchers at depthfirst discovered it and released a working proof-of-concept exploit.

Updating to NGINX 1.30.1 or newer (or tweaking your config) fixes the risk right away.
