What a month June has been!

Last week, Ioana Lung completed a semi-marathon in the Apuseni Mountains (Cluj county, Romania), through mud and rain! She dedicated her achievement to all her colleagues at Xoomworks:

Last Friday, our teams in Romania and Bulgaria took part in the second mental health session. The goal was to show us easy-to-practice techniques to reduce stress and help the "feel-good" hormones kick in so we feel balanced and re-energised. Here's a recap of some of the practical exercises we learnt from the team at Simplitao.

Our Romanian and Bulgarian colleagues at Xoomworks are experiencing the impact of a war just across their borders. Today we are running the first of two mental health sessions to help colleagues deal more effectively with emotions led by distress and fear.

Like many others, our team members jumped into action soon after the invasion to try and bring some relief to the families fleeing their homes. We've collected donations and delivered them to the border. For some of our team, like Vladicia Bulhac - it feels even more personal. By freeing up her time, she can volunteer her language skills - a way to be useful in assisting with the refugee effort. Read her story here: https://hubs.li/Q01bcN6m0

For Xoomworks colleagues in Romania and Bulgaria, the war in Ukraine falls close to home. Team members are finding ways to assist refugees arriving from the borders.

2021 has been a wonderful journey. We've loved creating some amazing products with our clients, we’ve onboarded talented people to our teams, and we started a new adventure as part of Accenture. Let's grow our success together in 2022! Happy new year!

We've had an amazing year! We've loved working on client projects that we know will make an impact and we'd like to thank all our clients, partners, friends of Xoomworks and especially our team for their unshakeable commitment, energy and support in what has been another challenging year for a lot of people.

Who said running is not fun when you have ambitious xoomies around? 🏃

Best way to start a rainy, grey November Sunday? A good run, along with awesome colleagues by your side🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️. This weekend our most active Xoomies kicked some asphalt during the Wizzair Marathon, sharing a few km & some good times. They even got themselves a shiny medal for crossing the finish line & an army of endorphins to keep the good times rolling😁. Big congrats for being such an inspiration, guys!
