Last month, the YAVA team touched down in Nairobi, Kenya 🇰🇪 meeting with key government, industry and infrastructure leaders helping shape the country’s next phase of growth.

From oil & gas and energy to aviation, security and tech-driven infrastructure resilience, Kenya continues to stand out as a regional hub and a place we’re proud to be building long-term partnerships.

A special thank you to the Indian High Commissioner-designate to Kenya, Hon’ble Dr. Adarsh Swaika, and to Hass Petroleum COO Mr. Solomon Osundwa and Director of LPG, Mr. Fahad Adil for the warm welcome, support and hospitality throughout our time in Nairobi.

YAVA attended the Dubai Airshow 2025, joining global innovators and defence leaders at one of the world’s leading aerospace events.

A special thank you to the British Embassy in Dubai for the invitation, and to the UAE Space Agency, Dubai Civil Aviation, Dubai Airports and the UAE Ministry of Defence for hosting such an important gathering. These partnerships highlight how the United Kingdom and the region continue to advance global security, and YAVA is proud to contribute through our work in aviation security, defence technology and critical infrastructure across the United Kingdom, the Middle East, Africa and India.

This year the focus was on integrating advanced technologies into secure and resilient systems. We met partners across aviation, defence and infrastructure to explore developments in counter drone systems, autonomous security platforms and secure airfield communications.

We also extend our deepest condolences to the Indian Air Force following the passing of Wing Commander Namansh Syal after the Tejas crash at the show. YAVA stands alongside our partners in India and remains committed to supporting indigenous capability development in a responsible and constructive manner.

From early-stage diagnostics to full-scale tech deployment, we’re focused on solutions that work where they’re needed most.
