No one is just a resident.

Every person has a lifetime of memories, relationships, likes, dislikes, and experiences that make them who they are. ☕️ 🎃

When we take the time to understand those things, care becomes more personal. Conversations become more meaningful, trust grows, and it’s easier to create moments of genuine connection.

Person-centred care starts with knowing the person behind the care plan. Because every resident has a story—and every story deserves to be known.

Some memories deserve more than a photograph.

You can now link videos to LifeLibrary through YouTube. Making it even easier to preserve the voices, laughter and moments that mean the most.

Because every life is more than a snapshot. 💙

Every photograph holds a story. Every memory deserves to be remembered. 📸

LifeLibrary is a place to preserve the moments that shaped a life – from childhood smiles and family celebrations to the everyday memories that mean the most. By keeping these stories and photographs together, we help future generations, loved ones, and carers connect with the person behind the picture.

Because memories aren’t just something we look back on – they’re something we carry forward. 💙

The words I dread the most and find rather upsetting when we are discussing LifeLibrary with a care provider are....

“life reminiscence and personal histories are a nice to have and not a must have”.

If that does not shock you then please do not read any further as you are not a potential partner of ours. If you are as horrified as me then please read on.

We recently helped Tanglewood Care Homes with a ‘My working life’ campaign where the residents and their families uploaded some stories and photos of the residents when they were working. It was amazing to watch the care teams engage on this level. It really does make a difference on a day today basis. A chat over a coffee discussing a very important part of someone’s life! That to me is a MUST HAVE!

This brings me to George! 6 lines of words and a photo brings part of his history back to life. Not just for him but for the care team and the family. And can be accessed anywhere and at anytime! Life work should grow with time and not sit collecting dust in an office.

And just for clarification we have in the past 2 weeks alone been told that LifeLibrary fills the gap in the life reminiscence offering of the 3 large care plan software platforms and 80% of carers can’t ever recall seeing any life stories!

If you would like to see more then please get in contact and whilst England are still in the World cup I will offer a (19) 66% discount for the first 2 months after the free trial finishes.

And for any families out there with a loved one in care please ask how life stories are used and then ask to see them!

Every person in care has a lifetime of stories worth preserving.

In this interview with Care Home Magazine, our founder Sheridan shares why LifeLibrary was created, how life stories can transform relationships between carers and residents, and why truly person-centred care starts with understanding the individual behind the care plan.

From creating meaningful conversations to helping families stay connected, LifeLibrary is changing the way care homes capture, share and celebrate lives well lived.

Thank you to Care Home Magazine for the opportunity to share our vision.

Gabriela, at Georgian House Nursing Homes, shares why memories matter, and how preserving life stories can strengthen connections, support person-centred care, and ensure every individual’s story is never forgotten.

Memories help us understand the people behind the names, celebrating their experiences, values and the moments that shaped their lives.

By capturing these stories, we create opportunities for more meaningful conversations, deeper relationships and care that is truly centred around the individual.
It’s a simple but powerful reminder that every life has a story worth preserving and sharing.

Meet Gabriela, Activities Coordinator at Georgian House Nursing Home in Ealing. 💛

We sat down with Gabriela to talk about how LifeLibrary has supported her role and the impact it’s had on residents, helping to spark conversations, preserve memories, and strengthen connections.

A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Georgian House for the incredible care, compassion, and dedication they show every day. It’s been a pleasure working alongside such a fantastic home. 🏡

Every person is more than a name, a diagnosis, or a chapter of their life. They are the stories they tell, the memories they cherish, the people they love, and the moments that shaped them. 📖

We help preserve those memories, keeping the person at the heart of every conversation. Because when stories are shared, connections grow, understanding deepens, and a person’s legacy lives on. 🌱

Keeping the person a person, one story at a time. 🖊️

Achieving a CQC Good rating is no mean feat and takes a huge amount of work and passion from the entire care team. We are proud to have been a small part of yet another improved rating to Good at one of partner care homes. 🤩

These are from the inspectors across 2 of the key criteria of Caring and Well-led which both scored 3’s and a Good rating ✅
