"The Gabion Beach-rock sofa was created halfway through the RERUM® production timeline. The first inspiration that I got was from an array of gabions I saw, and I immediately alerted the Product/ Industrial designer I’m working with and pitched my concept. The sketch below is a rough sketch i made before sending it over to him to see what could be done and what couldn’t. We did the model and figured out the form and shape of the sofa."
