🌿 A Digital Transformation Story: How We Helped the Institute of Health Visiting Step Into the Future
Every organisation has a moment when it realises its tools no longer match its mission.
For the Institute of Health Visiting (iHV), that moment came quietly, not with a dramatic failure, but with a growing sense that their digital world was holding them back.

🌱 Where It Began
iHV plays a crucial role in supporting health visitors across the UK, providing training, research, and guidance that directly impacts the wellbeing of families and children.
But behind this important work was a digital environment that was starting to creak.
The team was relying on Google Workspace, which worked… up to a point. Email and documents were fine, but integration was patchy. Device management was limited. Security needed strengthening. And collaboration tools simply weren’t keeping up with how the organisation worked.
As their responsibilities grew, so did the friction.
They needed a digital home that matched their ambition.

When we first met with the team, it became clear that this wasn’t just a “migration project.”
It was an opportunity to reset how the organisation worked day to day, to give their staff tools that would make their jobs easier, safer, and more connected.
So we designed a journey that would take them from Google Workspace to a full Microsoft 365 environment, without slowing their work or disrupting the people who rely on them.
🛠️ Building the Solution Together
Our approach was hands-on and personal.
We scheduled on-site onboarding days at the New Place Hotel, a neutral, calm space where the team could step away from the daily rush and focus on learning.
Device by device, we:
✔️ Joined each machine to Azure Active Directory
✔️ Enrolled them into Microsoft Intune for secure, centralised management
✔️ Migrated all emails and documents into the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
✔️ Set up SharePoint so their documents finally had structure, ownership, and clarity
✔️ Implemented Datto backup to ensure nothing was ever lost again
Each staff member had a dedicated hour with us. Enough time to ask questions, explore the new tools, and leave feeling confident rather than overwhelmed.
And throughout it all, we worked quietly in the background, securing data, validating backups, and making sure everything synced smoothly.

Suddenly, Teams and SharePoint weren’t just apps, they became the heartbeat of collaboration.
Intune removed the uncertainty of device management.
Datto brought peace of mind.
And staff felt empowered rather than restricted by their tools.
