Two major AI events happened this week:
▸Anthropic pulled the rug on OpenClaw users overnight.
▸OpenAI shut down Sora.
Both events. Same lesson.
→ The engineers who panicked? They built their entire workflow around a single tool.
→ The engineers who shrugged? They understood the fundamentals and planned for failures.
In SRE and DevOps, we call it "Chaos engineering" mindset. The stack changes. The principles don't.
Rate limiting, auth flows, API economics, compute constraints, none of this is new. What's new is the speed.
Don't chase tools. Master the foundations that outlive them.
What if the most powerful AI tools we use today, didn't exist tomorrow?
Is your workflow ready to survive without its favourite tool? What's your Plan B?
