Maurizio Amoroso, born in 1972, trained as a programmer specialized in development and management of information systems. In 2014, he founded Entertainment Game Apps, Ltd., a software house developing video games for smartphones and tablets, in which he holds the role of CEO and Senior Game Designer. In 2014, he realized his first project, "Prosperity-1434", a video game which has immediately made
clear the company's mission: to develop historical-archaeological videogames enhancing Italian Cultural Heritage thanks to contents accurately conceived and designed in collaboration with researchers and experts in the specific fields. With EGA, Maurizio went on developing important projects, directly involving Italian cultural institutions, such as the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia which endorsed and contributed to "Mi Rasna", a videogame dedicated to the Etruscan civilization. To date, EGA has also opened up to the world of children education, to international projects, such as "Trames - smart TouRism across the Mediterranean Sea" co-financed by the EU, and to initiatives dedicated to the promotion of the Italian territories, such as the Umbrian "Lab8 project" for the development of those municipalities of L'Aquila struck by the earthquake.
