A common theme of all presentations features the use of Rhino3d & Grasshopper but all other tools are discussed, presented & welcome. Shape to Fabrication remains one of the first architectural conferences to discuss the fabrication of complex geometries within the context of Computer Aided Design software.

Our final report, 4 of 4, is available now on the Shape to Fab website. This covers the technical write up of the afternoon session from Day 2 and features:

Verena Vogler, Jens Joschinski, Eleftherios Kourkopoulos from .europe with Rhino.Ecologic;
Elizabeth Bigger from GenCloth;
Mark Skepasts from discussing timber design and construction;
The Old War Office pavilion ‘Crafting a Jewel’ presentation from Michal Wojtkiewicz , Maria Meizoso, and Daniel van Kersbergen ;
And closing the 2025 presentations we had a fireside conversation between Arthur and David Rutten from McNeel on the evolution and future of parametric thinking.

Delighted to have and joining us on Day 2 of the Shape to Fabrication Conference 2025 with their presentation ‘Sculptural Seating on the Strand’.

Naomi Rosser from LDA Design and Karn Sandilands & Adam Harris from Millimetre will show us how the Strand Aldwych was transformed from a congested 4 lane gyratory to London’s cultural and education district.
