When one of the world's leading architectural visualisation studios rebrands and relocates, the technology behind the scenes has to move with it.

That's the story of Hayes Davidson. As the studio left its long-time Paddington home for stylish new premises near London Bridge, we worked closely with the team to rethink how they work.

Out went the fixed workstation towers under every desk. In came a flexible-pool model built on HP Z4r rack-mounted workstations and high-end SuperMicro machines. We also redesigned their render strategy, turning artists' workstations into an overnight render farm, and introduced a leasing model to keep pace with refresh cycles.

Expression Games launched their first title built entirely in-house on 13 August, a huge moment for the studio and the Hell Let Loose franchise they've grown with Team17. And they chose to feature Escape right there in the game's boot flow, alongside a mention in the credits.
