Following up on last week’s post about our open-source FlyyAI chatbot, we’ve made some exciting progress!

We've now added image, chart, and frame analysis to the model.

With just a single button below your existing images, users can now generate AI-powered summaries and insights directly from visuals on your site, without needing to upload or leave the page.

The goal is to keep things as non-disruptive as possible. You don't need to rebuild your frontend; just drop in the analysis button, and you're done.

Also, we trained the chatbot on sample football data, and the results were surprisingly accurate. It’s been fun experimenting with localised AI for private company data, and seeing what’s possible when you run everything locally and securely.

Introducing Our Open-Source FlyyAI Chatbot

Excited to share that my team and I have developed a powerful AI chatbot that can be integrated into any website and trained on any custom knowledge base — fully open-source, with frontend in JavaScript and backend in Python.

Currently, we’re testing it using the UK Constitution as the knowledge base (video demo in the post), but the bot can easily be adapted to any domain — legal, medical, internal documentation, HR policies, product manuals, and more.

Why it matters:
Unlike most solutions, our chatbot doesn’t require sending your private company data to the cloud. You keep full control over your data — run it locally or securely on-prem.

We’re open-sourcing the entire implementation, empowering developers and teams to:
• Deploy their own secure AI assistant
• Customize the UI/UX
• Plug into any structured or unstructured knowledge source

Our development process began with extensive research and brainstorming sessions. We wanted to ensure that AfroFi Bot would address the core pain points experienced by crypto traders and enthusiasts.
