Them Design

Them Design We are a collective of designers, print, brand, social media obsessives, planners and copywriters who love delivering the best creative solutions possible.

Specialist graphic design support for commercial architects, developers and interior designers. Creativity, added

With original and engaging design, we tell brand stories with clarity and creativity. But it’s not creativity in a silo. With great sensitivity to brand tone and volume, our goal is to complement and then enhance your architectural vision. Projects, completed

Creativity alone is not enough in this game. You need to be able to rely on us to get the job done. You can. We’re skilled at turning creative ideas into bricks and mortar reality. That means beautiful visuals, finished beautifully. Problems, solved

So what if things don’t go to plan? We figure it out. We’re reactive, nimble and resilient (not to mention, thick-skinned). So if the client throws a curve ball, we figure it out. If the budget unexpectedly shrinks, we figure it out. If a deadline gets moved, we figure it out.

Super Group has a lot of brand material to work with, from sport and gaming to competition, memorabilia, colour and technology.

For Basha-Franklin, the challenge was deciding how much of that needed to appear in the workplace.

Rather than relying heavily on logos and brand colours, the team curated those references throughout the space. Some are immediately recognisable, while others appear more subtly through materials, colour, objects and architectural details.

It reflects Basha-Franklin's wider approach to design, where architecture and interiors are considered together and the idea is carried through from the overall space to the smallest details.

In Episode 12 of That Workplace Experience Podcast, Nicola Osborn and Isabella Williams discuss how this thinking shaped Super Group's new London HQ.

First impressions were an important part of the brief for Super Group's new London HQ.

The reception introduces references to sport, competition and key moments in the company's story, giving visitors a sense of the brand without revealing everything at once.

For employees, the thinking goes further. The team wanted to create details that could continue to be noticed and understood over time, rather than becoming part of the background after a few weeks.

In Episode 12 of That Workplace Experience Podcast, Dan Moscrop talks to Nicola Osborn and Isabella Williams from Basha-Franklin about the thinking behind the arrival experience and how brand storytelling continues throughout the workplace.

The final episode of Series 1 of That Workplace Experience Podcast is now live 🎙️

For Episode 12, Dan Moscrop visits Super Group's new London HQ with Nicola Osborn and Isabella Williams from Basha-Franklin.

THEM worked alongside Basha-Franklin on the project, developing the brand experience, wayfinding, environmental graphics and storytelling throughout the workplace.

In the episode, the team looks back at how the project developed and how the finished space supports everything from focused work and company-wide meetings to social events, wellness and some less predictable requests, including finding room for a full-size Formula 1 car just six weeks before practical completion.

It's also a chance to hear directly from the people behind the project about the thinking, decisions and challenges that shaped the finished workplace.

For National Inclusion Week, we’re revisiting a small but meaningful detail from our work with DLA Piper in Dublin 🌈

Meet The Rainbow — one of a series of artworks we created to bring Irish culture and identity into their workplace.

Inspired by Ireland becoming the first country in the world to legalise same-sex marriage by popular vote, the piece celebrates the diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community and reflects DLA Piper’s commitment to diversity and building strong communities.

It’s a reminder that inclusion can show up in all sorts of ways — including the stories we tell through the spaces around us.

Small detail. Big story.

Re-thinking your workplace? Start with how people find their way around it.

Wayfinding is more than helping people reach their destination. It creates confidence, removes friction and makes navigating a space feel intuitive.

Done well, it becomes part of the experience, guiding people naturally while reinforcing your brand along the way.

At THEM, we bring brand, art, wayfinding and installation together to create workplaces that look good, feel intuitive and work for the people using them.

Because every journey through a workplace tells a story.

What goes into creating a workplace that makes a great first impression?

Following on from our recent post on workplace arrivals, we’re spotlighting one of the people behind Dan’s top picks: Julian de Metz, Director and Founder of dMFK Architects.

In Episode 06 of Series 1 of That Workplace Experience Podcast, Julian takes us inside Chancery House and shares how thoughtful restoration and contemporary design helped breathe new life into a historic building.

It’s a great example of how respecting a building’s past can go hand in hand with creating intuitive, welcoming spaces that people naturally want to use.

You can tell a lot about a workplace before you’ve even reached reception.

Last month, we shared some of our Founder Dan Moscrop’s favourite workplaces for wellbeing. This month, we’re looking at "first impressions".

His three picks from That Workplace Experience Podcast:

Chancery House — dMFK
Dock Shed — Conran and Partners
11 Belgrave Road — Eric Parry Architects

From dramatic entrances and social lobbies to a bright, double-height reception, each shows how arrival can become part of the workplace experience.

What makes a workplace worth coming to?

These moments from our conversation with Becky Spenceley-Kerr and Adam Phillips, Design Directors at Gensler, explore the idea of the workplace as a destination rather than an obligation.

With greater flexibility over where and how we work, the office has to add real value to the day — creating opportunities to connect, spaces for different ways of working and, importantly, a sense of belonging.

And it’s just one conversation.

Across 11 episodes of That Workplace Experience, we’ve spoken with architects, designers, developers, psychologists and workplace leaders about what makes a better workplace experience.

From culture and connection to design, wellbeing and the future of work, every conversation brings a different perspective.

“THEM elevated the space, complemented our design vision, and made the entire process seamless from concept to installation.” — Athiná Trapezountiou, Senior Designer at Savills

For the new London headquarters of a Global (Re)Insurance Organisation, art became part of the architecture of the workplace itself.

Working closely with the interior architects from the earliest stages, we developed a curatorial strategy that shaped how people move, gather and experience the space — transforming an existing and fragmented art collection into a cohesive curatorial narrative.

Some of the best brand stories are already there, they just need the right place to be told.

At SuperGroup's London HQ, sporting memorabilia became an important part of the workplace itself.

Working in collaboration with Basha-Franklin, we brought football shirts, balls and other pieces from SuperGroup's archive into the space with a gallery-like approach. Carefully considered displays and lighting turn the collection into focal points that feel integrated into the architecture, rather than added as decoration.

The result celebrates SuperGroup's history, partnerships and connection to global sport, while giving existing objects a new purpose within the workplace.

Because creating a strong sense of brand doesn't always mean adding more. Sometimes it's about seeing the value in what's already there.
