If youโ€™re using AI anywhere in the buyer journey, Iโ€™d test these first:

1. How much does this cost?
2. What makes this different?
3. How long does implementation take?
4. Will this work for my situation?
5. What happens after I sign up?

If the system struggles with those, thatโ€™s where Iโ€™d start.

One thing Iโ€™ve learned building in this space:

A lot of noise disappears when you focus on usefulness.

Can it answer clearly?
Can it stay grounded?
Can it reduce friction?
Can it help a real team?

That clears out a surprising amount of nonsense.

Hot take:

A lot of businesses donโ€™t need more AI features.
They need better source material.

If your pricing page is vague, your docs assume too much, and your support content is half-clear, no model is going to magically fix that.
AI often exposes clarity problems that were already there.

A weak answer is frustrating.

Itโ€™s also useful.

It usually points to missing content, unclear source material, or a gap in how the business explains itself.

Thatโ€™s fixable.

Repeated questions from customers are not merely support noise; they are signals indicating important areas for improvement. These signals suggest that:

- Buyers are still unclear
- Customers are getting stuck
- Documentation may be incomplete
- Onboarding processes might be weak
- The business is making too many assumptions

This is why I pay close attention to question patterns.

They reveal where the business still needs work.

One simple way I think about answer quality:
Question โ†’ Result โ†’ Why โ†’ Fix
Thatโ€™s it.
Did the system answer the question?
If not, why not?
And what should be fixed first?
A lot of teams jump from โ€œthe AI answered somethingโ€ to โ€œlooks good.โ€
That skips the part that actually matters.

Your website usually isnโ€™t answering what buyers actually care about

A lot of businesses think their website explains what they do.
Sometimes it does. But when you look at the actual questions buyers ask, you usually find the gaps quickly.
Pricing confusion.
Implementation confusion.
Comparison confusion.
โ€œWhat happens after I sign?โ€
โ€œWill this work for my situation?โ€
โ€œHow long does this take?โ€

Thatโ€™s where a lot of friction lives. Usually not because the business is bad. Usually because it knows too much and explains too little.

A quick thought on the difference between AI that replies and AI that actually helps.

What Iโ€™m building is not โ€œjust a chatbot.โ€ Iโ€™m trying to solve a more specific problem.
Businesses get asked the same important questions every day.

Before the sale. After the sale. During onboarding. During support.

Most teams either answer them manually, answer them inconsistently, or throw AI at the problem and hope for the best.
Iโ€™m more interested in building something that gives better answers and shows the business what it still hasnโ€™t explained clearly enough.

That second part matters more than most people realize.

Why โ€œmostly rightโ€ is still wrong

Iโ€™ve spent a lot of time around systems where โ€œmostly rightโ€ is still wrong.
That changes how you look at AI.
A lot of AI still gets judged by whether it looks impressive in a demo.
I care more about whether it gives a clear answer when a real buyer asks a real question.
Thatโ€™s a very different standard.
And honestly, itโ€™s the one that matters.
Thatโ€™s a big part of why Iโ€™m building what Iโ€™m building now.
