Many access control systems still work.
Doors open, people get in, and nothing appears broken.

But working doesn’t always mean secure, compliant, or future-ready.

If your system hasn’t been reviewed in years, it may no longer align with today’s security and operational expectations.

We explore the quiet warning signs in our latest blog.

HID and USC out of office hours! 🏁🏎️

Recently, members of the Universal Smart Cards sales and marketing team had the fantastic opportunity to attend an HID race day, supporting one of the teams they sponsor.

And what a day it was!

From the hospitality and food to the organisation, atmosphere and, of course, the racing itself, the whole event was brilliant from start to finish.

A massive thank you to Caroline Deverick and the wider HID team for organising the day and inviting Universal Smart Cards along. We really appreciated the hospitality and couldn’t have asked for much more!

It was also great to spend some time together away from the usual meetings, emails and projects.

We look forward to catching up again soon, although next time it will probably be back in the office, without cars flying past us at over 100mph! 😂

Thank you again, HID!
