Your staff are the biggest threat to the cyber security of your business. This has been a long accepted fact. but WFH is INCREASING that threat!

We have been banging the drum on this for some time now. It's a very serious issue and it needs to be addressed, something we are able to deliver for businesses.

Indeed we have conducted remote "stress tests" to our client's WiFi routers to examine their security protocols, advising and updating as necessary.

How confident are you about the security habits of your WFH staff? Here are some figures from this article that might give you food for thought;

- 56% of senior IT technicians believe their employees have picked up bad cyber-security habits while working from home

- 39% of staff admitted that their cyber-security practices at home were less thorough than those practised in the office

- Barracuda Networks said it had seen a 667% increase in malicious phishing emails

- Google also reported...that it was blocking over 100 million phishing emails daily

Experts warn working from home has led to complacency over security protocols

🌞 Keep your Wi-Fi router out of direct sunlight. And no letting your pets lie on them to keep warm either! 😸

Seriously though, these routers are not the most sophisticated of devices, and we often find that the general public aren't aware of their deficiencies.

With more and more people working from home and putting more and more pressure on a router that probably wasn't designed for this, it's wise for businesses to think about how their staff are set up for WFH.

The company is alerting customers to the risk of overheating.
