Festive fun at Infomentum! 🎄🥂

Earlier this month, the Infomentum family got together for our annual Christmas party at the Bunch of Grapes pub in London. Our amazing team from around the world celebrated in style after all their hard work over the past year.

With a game of Taskmaster and the food and drinks flowing, everyone had a great time with a lot of positivity about the forthcoming year! 🥳

🎶 Skating in a Winter wonderland… ⛸

When the festive season comes around, our Wellness Champions organise an event where we can get out from behind our desks, get out into the world, and have some quality team time.

This year we took to the beautiful Somerset House for a spot of ice skating. As the sun went down and with snow on the ground, the Christmas lights lit up the rink and the skates went on in the perfect festive scene! 🎄❄️

You'll be pleased to know, no injuries were sustained and a great time was had by all!

🤪 Remember the famous scene with Tom Cruise hanging onto the cliff's side by only his fingertips?

The bravest members of the team Infomentum were up to this challenge. No, we didn't fly to Norway; instead, we went to the City Bouldering as a part of our Wellness Program!

Bouldering is about working together, helping and trusting each other to reach the top of the climb. How refreshing to take the skills we use daily in software development out of the office!

Did we enjoy the session?

"I never imagined that it would be so good! I could feel my brain lighting up", admitted Sital Athwal, the support manager.

"Fun-filled activity that helps cross limits", called bouldering Anoop Raikar, our senior MuleSoft developer.

"It's a great team-building exercise; most of the time you rely on your friends on the ground to help you choose the next step. It wasn't easy to pre-plan every move and visualise how to conquer the climb", smiled Marta Monteiro, our CTO.

So, next time you need to quiet the mind from cluttered thoughts, zone into a zen state or even test your colleagues, head straight to bouldering!

Slowly going back to the pre-covid office life.

Each person was asked to bring a lunch dish to share, so we eat together, try each dish and cast our votes.

We ended up sharing a £50 Amazon voucher! Everyone was a winner yesterday. It's a pity there were only 5 of us 😔

"Yeeees! We did it!" - the first run in 2022 for the team Infomentum was over. Only the bravest came on Friday sunny morning to Victoria park. For Anoop Raikar, it was the first attempt to conquer 5 km, while the rest were seasoned walkers-runners.

Maybe not record-breaking results to report, but it was a fun and healthy start to Easter break.

We don't come to the office as often as we used to, so it was great to catch up and see each other in person.

Well done Easter bunnies - Molly Reason, Charlie Stapleton, Siddharth Sharma and Marta Monteiro!
