Antidetect Browsers — Good Friends for Residential Proxies

In our previous posts, we’ve mentioned more than once that anti-bot systems look at more than just your IP address. They monitor user behavior on websites, check the frequency of requests, and analyze the browser fingerprint.

🖐 A fingerprint is a kind of “digital fingerprint” of your browser. It is made up of numerous parameters, including system language, screen resolution, time zone, installed fonts, device characteristics, and much more. This allows a website to recognize a user even after they change their IP address.

☝️ Antidetect browsers can help hide or modify your fingerprint from anti-bot systems. They allow you to create separate browser profiles with their own settings and fingerprint parameters. Each profile can have its own isolated cookies, local storage, and other data.

😈 But an antidetect browser alone may not be enough. If you access the same website from different profiles but use the same IP address, the system may still notice something unusual. That’s why antidetect browsers are often used together with proxies.

And what makes our residential proxies great is that they use IP addresses associated with real users. Anti-bot systems generally tend to trust these types of IP addresses more.

📱 How to use our proxies on iOS?

💙 To connect to a proxy on an iPhone, you can use any app that supports this function. In this post, we will cover Potatso and Anywhere. Both apps are available for free on the App Store.

First, you need to create a proxy list on our website or in our bot. If you encounter any difficulties at this stage, check out our post, where we explained in detail how to work with proxy lists.

1️⃣ Connecting with Potatso:

> On the main page, tap “Add Servers” → “Import Link”. Paste a link in the format “[http://api[username]:[password].node-proxy.com:10000”](http://api[username]:[password].node-proxy.com:10000”) into the field that appears. Then tap “Connect” on the main page.

2️⃣ Connecting with Anywhere:

> Tap “Add” and select “Manual”. Enter any name and select the SOCKS5 protocol. In the address field, enter “gate.node-proxy. com”, then enter the port (for example, 10000), username (starting with api), and password. After that, tap “Connect”.

⚙️ In both cases, your iPhone will ask you to confirm adding a new connection and enter your passcode. After successfully connecting, a VPN icon should appear at the top of the screen.

You can check whether the proxy is working on websites such as 2ip.ru or 2ip.io.

How to Bypass Yandex SmartCaptcha

📈 According to statistics, around 14% of Russian websites that use CAPTCHA have implemented Yandex SmartCaptcha. In the Russian web segment, it is second only to Google reCAPTCHA.

🔨 The way this anti-bot system works is very similar to its international counterparts. When a user visits a website, the system may suspect that they are a bot and present a CAPTCHA to verify that they are human.

To make this decision, SmartCaptcha analyzes numerous factors, including user behavior on the website, the browser fingerprint, request frequency, and many other signals.

🪖 Among all these "humanity" indicators, there's one we can help with — the IP address. If your task involves automated interaction with a website, using a proxy is usually essential. However, datacenter proxies are not the best choice, as the system tends to trust them less from the very beginning.

Residential proxies are a much better option. Each IP address belongs to a real user, making the traffic appear much more natural to anti-bot systems. As a result, you're far less likely to encounter CAPTCHAs and other additional verification checks.

Why Can't Any Proxy Guarantee Complete Protection from Blocks?

🌐 A high-quality residential proxy really does help you encounter CAPTCHAs, restrictions, and blocks much less often. However, you shouldn't think of a proxy as a cure-all that can protect you from every possible issue.

🤖 Modern anti-bot systems no longer rely on the IP address alone. They analyze how a user behaves on a website, the request rate, the browser fingerprint, cookies, and many other signals.

💻 So if you send hundreds of requests to the same website every minute, the system will eventually block or restrict you regardless of how good your proxy is. A proxy does not make you invisible to anti-bot systems, but it significantly reduces the chances of your activity being flagged as suspicious.

⚙️ To minimize the risk of blocks, it's important not only to choose the right proxy, but also to configure an appropriate rotation strategy, use a reasonable request rate, set up a proper anti-detect browser, and optimize the rest of your workflow.

How to Choose a Proxy GEO Location

📋 When creating a new proxy list, you need to choose the location your proxies will belong to. We offer more than 195 locations across different countries and regions worldwide. On the website, you can simply select the desired location from the list, while in the bot, GEO is specified using a two-letter country code (for example: RU, KZ, DE).

🤩 The most important factor is the country from which the target website should see your connection. For example, if you need to collect search results shown to users in Russia, you should use a Russian proxy. Depending on the IP address, a website may display different prices, advertisements, search results, product availability, and other content.

🔑 It is also worth considering that the farther the selected location is from your actual location, the higher the connection latency will be. However, when browsing websites, working with accounts, or collecting data, this difference is usually barely noticeable. Ping only becomes important in situations where latency is a critical factor, such as gaming, streaming, and other real-time services.

👩‍💻 How to Use Our Proxies on Android?

🎮 To connect to a proxy on Android, you can install either Super Proxy or V2Box. Both apps are free and available on Google Play.

First, create a proxy list on our website or through our bot. If you're having trouble with this step, check our guide on working with proxy lists.

1️⃣ How to Set Up Super Proxy:

Tap **"Add Proxy"** and enter the following details: username (starts with **"api"**), password, server address (**gate.node-proxy.com**), and port (for example, **10000**). Also select the protocol you want to use — **SOCKS5** or **HTTPS**. Then tap **"Start"**.

2️⃣ How to Set Up V2Box:

Open the **"Configurations"** tab, tap the turquoise **"+"** icon, and select **"Add Manual Configuration"**. Choose the **SOCKS5** format and fill in the required details: username, password, server address, port, and other fields. Tap **"Save"**, then select the created configuration and press **"Auto-connect"**.

✅ Android may ask you to confirm the connection. Once connected successfully, a VPN icon should appear in the status bar. You can verify that the proxy is working by visiting 2ip.
