Adversary-in-the-middle: your finance manager's password goes into a proxy page that looks like Microsoft sign-in. The MFA prompt passes. The attacker holds a live session.

Email authentication in sixty seconds:

— SPF lists your approved senders
— DKIM signs each message
— DMARC (at p=reject) tells receiving servers to bin the fakes

Without it, spoofed CEO email lands in a supplier's inbox phishing on your reputation.

MFA is the floor. Conditional Access is the building.

MFA blocks over 99.9% of account compromise attacks (Microsoft). But a phished password plus one approved push equals a full session.

Conditional Access decides: where sign-ins originate, which devices, how risky — impossible travel, unfamiliar IP.

MFA asks "is this the right person?" Conditional Access asks "is this sign-in safe?"
