OK, how is it October already?! Surely it was July about five minutes ago…

The last couple of months have absolutely flown by here at VisionsLive, although that might have something to do with how busy we’ve been!

We’ve been working away on new features and reports for our Focus Groups and Interview platform, as well as giving our online Bulletin Boards platform a complete revamp.

So maybe that explains where the time went. Time flies when you’re having fun, right?

How can online qualitative research make it easier for busy, geographically dispersed participants to take part while still creating a safe, flexible space for meaningful discussion?

In our latest case study, Clare Matysova writes about how she used VisionLive as part of her PhD research exploring parents’ decision-making around childcare and Shared Parental Leave in the UK.

Clare was looking for a private, accessible platform for asynchronous qualitative discussions, with the flexibility to manage participants, stagger questions, use multimedia and support pseudonymous participation.

In the case study, she reflects on how VisionLive supported the project and describes the platform as straightforward, flexible and easy to adapt to the needs of her research.

Happy 30th Birthday to our very own Super Spencer Wood! 🎉

Spenny has been part of the VisionsLive family for over 8 years now, and honestly, we don’t know what we’d do without him!

From tech support and project management to looking after key accounts, Spencer wears a lot of hats, and somehow still finds time to make a cracking brew… when he remembers! 😂

He’s always the first to go above and beyond, whether that’s for our clients or for the rest of the VL team, and we’re very lucky to have him.

So, to celebrate the big 3-0, we spoiled him with everything a sophisticated 30 year old could possibly want… b**r, chocolate and cash!

More lovely feedback, and another tight turnaround we were really proud to support. 😊

Following on from the client feedback we shared earlier this week, we wanted to share some more kind words, this time from Davey Williams at Beautiful Insights.

This was a fast-moving digital ethnography project, with a very tight turnaround to get the board built, creative uploaded, respondents live, and everything ready ahead of the client debrief the next morning.

It was a big ask, but exactly the kind of challenge our team loves getting stuck into. 🙌

The feedback meant a lot to us, not just because of the kind words, but because the board helped respondents clearly share what worked for them, what didn’t, and why, giving the Beautiful Insights team strong overnight insight to take into their session.

Here’s what Davey had to say:

“Just wanted to say a huge thank you for all of your help getting the ethnography board ready, and especially for yesterday. We knew it was a really tight turnaround — getting the creative over, getting it live for respondents, and making sure everyone knew what was happening. We debriefed to the client this morning and there were some really amazing insights from the board overnight.
