SeedCulture Ignite sustainability across your workforce with our gamified sustainability training platform 🌏⚡️ How does it work?

We help people and teams to understand, engage with, and take action on sustainability topics. We do this via our gamified e-learning platform, which helps organisations to scale sustainability knowledge and competence in their workforce - and turn this into actions that are good for the planet and for business. As a user, you are awarded points for completing sustainability-related learning modul

es and actions. These modules are available from our ever-growing content library, covering topics such as climate change, sustainable procurement, and the circular economy. As you earn points and lower your footprint, you earn virtual trees - which we then plant on your behalf in real life. Our Teams offering provides organisations with the ability to select and tailor modules, based on their sustainability focus areas and initiatives. These are then displayed in a private, branded dashboard. Team managers can view a breakdown of their learner's progress and impact via our reporting dashboards. Individuals can also subscribe to access our library of sustainability short courses.

Behaviour change is hard, and sometimes the biggest barrier to getting started is the perception that taking action means reaching an unattainable bar of perfection… 🛑

However, it’s the small acts that provide a wedge to get us on the path in the first place. That inspires progressive learning and thoughtful conversations. That sows the seeds for more impactful change - which then starts to sprout into our larger identity, as individuals and larger collectives. 🌱

How does your organisation encourage sustainable living and action? Do you have a culture that promotes and celebrates sustainability wins, no matter how big/small? 🌍⚡️

Why is it important to consider the impacts across the FULL value chain of your organisation – and to explore solutions such as sustainable procurement? 🧐

On environmental topics such as climate change, emissions generated in an organisation’s supply chain are, on average, 11 times greater than those in their direct operations.

Not only that, but taking the full supply chain into account can have up to 5 times more social impact than an organisation’s operations alone, due to the number of employees in the supply chain versus in the direct operations. 🤯

Our new Sustainable Procurement course is now LIVE in the SeedCulture library. Team and individual subscriptions available via our website! 🌎⚡️

⚡️Customer Spotlight: Advisors Next Door!⚡️

Advisors Next Door is a multidisciplinary consulting firm that delivers customised solutions to clients in the environmental and financial services sectors of the Caribbean. They recently participated in our pilot program as a way to engage their team and further strengthen their commitment to sustainability as a firm.

Their employees said that they loved the engaging and digestible content, which helped to reinforce foundational sustainability concepts and provide actionable examples of how sustainability can be applied in their day-to-day lives. They also loved that as they completed courses, they were helping to restore ecosystems - the cherry on the cake! 🌳

"The writing is on the walls: environmental sustainability is more important than ever before.", said Mr. Ryan Assiu, Director and Principal Environmental Consultant at AND.

"Companies that embed sustainability strategies into their workplace culture and business operations reduce costs, improve profits, and build stronger relationships with people and the planet. Yet, realising these benefits is hindered by a dearth of educational resources that meet employees where they are - often at zero. Katelyn and her team have designed an intuitive platform that breaks down intimidating topics such as climate change and circular economies into engaging and digestible content. SeedCulture starts conversations."

Asked whether he would recommend SeedCulture to other companies, he added: "I often do. I highly recommend it to companies wishing to foster sustainability awareness, attitudes and action among staff to support their broader sustainability goals."

It can be difficult to know which individual lifestyle choices and behaviours can have the biggest impact on the climate. 🤔

While many factors (such as where you’re located in the world and how your electricity is sourced) can influence this, we put together a ‘cheat sheet’ to show where the average person can have the most impact on their emissions.

The full breakdown and guide is available in our ‘Living Sustainably’ short course, which can be accessed via our website. 🌎⚡️

What are some of the ways that you’re trying to reduce the emissions generated by your lifestyle?
