見到熟客係最開心嘅事。同一位機主，同一部MacBook，只係交收地點由銅鑼灣變咗做Harrow。

MacBook Air 11” 2014，電池脹起，上門換電解決。日照時間長嘅其中一個好處，係回程嘅時候，可以欣賞吓日落嘅泰晤士河。

It is always great to see repeated customers. The same owner with the same MacBook, the only different is meeting up from Hong Kong to Harrow.

On-site battery replacement for a MacBook Air 11” 2014, which has a inflated battery inside. One good thing in summer time, is to enjoy sunset over the Thames on the way back.

暑假終於都完。

學校放長假嘅時候，返工就變成另一種嘅休息。所以特別感謝喺Woking嘅機主，喺暑假尾俾咗一日「休息」嘅機會我，雖然呢個機會係嚟自佢部機嘅不幸。

MacBook Air 13” 2020，冚埋Mon嘅時候意外壓到雜物，上門換mon了事。

The summer is over, finally.

When the kids are off school, going to work becomes a different kind of break. A special thanks to my customer in Woking for giving me a day of “rest” at the end of the summer holidays, although sadly it came at the expense of their Mac.

A MacBook Air 13” 2020 debris got caught when the lid was closed and damaged the screen. On-site screen replaced, job done.

喺東倫敦嘅一部MacBook Air 13” 2020，雖然部機合埋嘅時候壓到一個萬字夾，但都足夠整爆個mon。

上門換mon，大約半個鐘整好，希望機主部機唔好再出意外喇。

It doesn’t take much to crack a MacBook screen.

A MacBook Air 13” 2020 in East London had its display damaged after a paper clip was accidentally left on the keyboard when the lid was closed. As small as it was, it was enough to crack the LCD.

A new display was fitted on-site, and the repair was completed in around 30 minutes. Hopefully, that’s the last accident this MacBook will have.

Harddisk不幸壞咗，救唔救到data好多時係同運氣有關。喺Colindale，一部壞harddisk嘅 iMac 27" 2017，可幸係起回大部分嘅data。

機主決upgrade埋部iMac 2TB SSD，加多16GB Ram，再將OS爆上去Sequoia，整好之後新機一樣。

Hard drives can fail without warning, and whether the data can be recovered often comes down to luck. This iMac 27" 2017 at Colindale with a failed hard drive. Fortunately, we were able to recover most of the customer's data.

The customer then decided to upgrade the machine with a 2TB SSD, add an extra 16GB RAM, and update macOS all the way to Sequoia. Once completed, the iMac felt like a brand-new machine again.

老老實實，換mon永遠都唔係最鍾意做嘅service，因為個人認為爆mon係最慘痛嘅意外，重慘過入水。

喺Croydon，一部MacBook Air 13” 2020經歷過一次慘痛嘅意外，需要上門換Mon。

To be honest, screen replacements have never been my favourite service. In my view, a cracked screen is one of the most painful accidents a MacBook can suffer, even worse than liquid damage.

This MacBook Air 13" 2020 from Croydon went through exactly that kind of unfortunate mishap and required an on-site screen replacement. The good news is that a new display brought it back to full working order. Screen damage is among the most common MacBook repairs we see, but it never gets any less heartbreaking when it happens.

喺西倫敦，一部MacBook Pro 15” 2018，機主兩年前帶過返去台灣換電。

兩年過去，電池又到咗要換嘅時候了。

雖然話電池可以用到300個Cycle左右，但凡事總有例外。

喺North Yorkshire寄嚟嘅一部MacBook Pro 15” 2012，雖然電池只有67個cycle，可惜電池已經出咗問題，需要換電。

Although batteries are generally expected to last around 300 cycles, there are always exceptions.

A MacBook Pro 15” 2012 sent in from North Yorkshire had only 67 battery cycles, but unfortunately the battery had already failed and needed replacing.

喺東倫敦睇到彩虹嘅一個黃昏，送返一部底板短路嘅MacBook Pro 16” 2019；另一部係電池脹起需要換電嘅MacBook Pro 13” 2017。

開機入唔到系統，見到多國語言嘅畫面，一定唔係好事。
