Harddisk不幸壞咗，救唔救到data好多時係同運氣有關。喺Colindale，一部壞harddisk嘅 iMac 27" 2017，可幸係起回大部分嘅data。

機主決upgrade埋部iMac 2TB SSD，加多16GB Ram，再將OS爆上去Sequoia，整好之後新機一樣。

Hard drives can fail without warning, and whether the data can be recovered often comes down to luck. This iMac 27" 2017 at Colindale with a failed hard drive. Fortunately, we were able to recover most of the customer's data.

The customer then decided to upgrade the machine with a 2TB SSD, add an extra 16GB RAM, and update macOS all the way to Sequoia. Once completed, the iMac felt like a brand-new machine again.

老老實實，換mon永遠都唔係最鍾意做嘅service，因為個人認為爆mon係最慘痛嘅意外，重慘過入水。

喺Croydon，一部MacBook Air 13” 2020經歷過一次慘痛嘅意外，需要上門換Mon。

To be honest, screen replacements have never been my favourite service. In my view, a cracked screen is one of the most painful accidents a MacBook can suffer, even worse than liquid damage.

This MacBook Air 13" 2020 from Croydon went through exactly that kind of unfortunate mishap and required an on-site screen replacement. The good news is that a new display brought it back to full working order. Screen damage is among the most common MacBook repairs we see, but it never gets any less heartbreaking when it happens.

喺西倫敦，一部MacBook Pro 15” 2018，機主兩年前帶過返去台灣換電。

兩年過去，電池又到咗要換嘅時候了。

雖然話電池可以用到300個Cycle左右，但凡事總有例外。

喺North Yorkshire寄嚟嘅一部MacBook Pro 15” 2012，雖然電池只有67個cycle，可惜電池已經出咗問題，需要換電。

Although batteries are generally expected to last around 300 cycles, there are always exceptions.

A MacBook Pro 15” 2012 sent in from North Yorkshire had only 67 battery cycles, but unfortunately the battery had already failed and needed replacing.

喺東倫敦睇到彩虹嘅一個黃昏，送返一部底板短路嘅MacBook Pro 16” 2019；另一部係電池脹起需要換電嘅MacBook Pro 13” 2017。

開機入唔到系統，見到多國語言嘅畫面，一定唔係好事。

一部曾經入水要維修底板嘅 MacBook Pro，突然間又唔著，都咪話唔驚。

喺北倫敦嘅一部 MacBook Pro 13" 2017，證實只係電池問題，上門換電解決問題，虛驚一場。

A MacBook Pro that had previously suffered liquid damage and required a logic board repair suddenly would not power on again, which was understandably concerning.

喺倫敦，一部MacBook Pro 13” 2020電池有問題。

去到現場拆開部機，發現電池之前換過，重點係上手換嘅時候，成張包裝紙黐住舊電就直接放入機。

毫無疑問，電池就係因為過熱而壞了。

In London, a MacBook Pro 13” 2020 had a battery issue.

Upon opening the device on-site, it was discovered that the battery had been replaced previously. The key issue was that during the previous replacement, the entire packaging film was left attached to the battery and installed directly into the machine.

Unsurprisingly, the battery failed due to overheating.
