Happy International Women's Day! To mark the day and to celebrate this year's theme of , we spoke to our COO Renee Hawkins, our associate Scrum Master Erin Gray, and our Head of DEI Maya Sargent.

We get their takes on what the tech industry can and should do to create equity for its women — from seemingly small changes like using gender inclusive language in job descriptions, to nurturing school girls' interest in IT by teaching them about the back end of apps they probably use every day.

Last Monday a major earthquake hit southern Turkey and northern Syria and over 35,000 people have since been confirmed dead. At Tecknuovo, we have donated to our charity partner War Child UK to support their active operations in Syria. The number one priority for War Child UK right now is protecting children and their families by providing safe spaces and protection kits.

2022 has been a very exciting year for Tecknuovo, we’ve gathered together some of the key things we would like to celebrate:

+ Our HQ team has grown by 51%. Our leadership team has grown as well, and we’re really proud that 46% of senior level positions are held by women.

+ Our revenue has been recognised by the Financial Times 1000 and The Sunday Times 100, ranking us as the number one fastest-growing technology consultancy in the UK.

+ Our team delivery has brought our associate community closer together, with 32 teams currently supporting our customers.

+ Our official charity partner, War Child UK was among the twenty-one charities we supported this year. Our carbon neutral pledge has also committed to offsetting 125% of created emissions.

We couldn’t do this without the collaborative efforts of our team, and we are looking forward to seeing what 2023 brings.

This has been an exciting year for Tecknuovo! As we reach the end of 2022, we are looking back on some of our favourite moments from the year.

In September, we launched our event series- a networking and knowledge sharing event for our associates and the community at large.
