ACC Recovers Le 12 Million and Pays into Government Account

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has deposited Le 12 million (New Leones) into the Government’s Consolidated Revenue Fund (CRF), reflecting funds recovered over the past year in its ongoing fight against corruption.

In a press release dated June 27, 2025, the ACC confirmed the payment into the CRF account at the Bank of Sierra Leone.

ACC Commissioner Francis Ben Kaifala highlighted that the amount is part of significant recoveries made in recent years, largely through the Commission’s “non-conviction based assets recovery approach,” with some funds also recovered following High Court convictions.
