We need youth services

And yet, over the last decade they've been a key victim of Government cuts. And guess what's happening now? Crime rates are increasing.

At Safe N Social, we're all about making the streets safer for everyone, but our app can only go so far. If we aren't helping our most vulnerable to steer away from crime, we'll always be fighting the symptoms...and never finding a cure.

Everyone deserves to get home safe. But that can only happen if we work together to resolve the true issues head on.

The SoS Feature: How it works

We're developing the SoS feature to help the moment an altercation occurs. It's simple:

1. Connect the venue with their audience automatically via the app
2. Record altercations when they happen, and produce an alarm to quickly deter the perpetrator
3. Alert the venue security, sending the live footage and location of the altercation
4. Report the incident, backed with the evidence saved on your app

This is one of our many features that's to come.

Because everyone deserves to get home safe.

Everyone deserves to get home safe. And while many steps need to be made to improve the systems that protect our public, there are certain steps we can take as individuals, to feel more confident when travelling alone.

A study by Journey Woman revealed that 88% of women have felt unsafe or threatened while travelling...a sobering number that unfortunately, doesn't surprise us.

Did you see the TFL Bystanders campaign?

At the beginning of the year, TFL launched a campaign to help travellers understand what to do when witnessing harassment while using their services.

While education around this topic is great, it does put pressure on people to get involved, and potentially risk their own safety too. There has to be a better way. And we're here to make sure there is.

University should be a safe space to learn and grow. And yet, the figures show that's not currently the case.

Our students deserve to trust in the faculty that's educating them. But to make that possible, big changes need to be made.

It's time to provide the support our security guards deserve.

We're working hard to develop an app that allows users to:

✅Quickly record criminal activity

✅Instantly contact the relevent services to support

✅Successfully file reports on the incident

But it doesn't end there. Our app will also connect security guards to the general public.

There are twice as many private security guards on our streets as there are police. By connecting the public and security staff, we can ensure that justice is served and crime deterred, for everyone.
