.Net Developer Contract role - Outside IR35

Working in a small team and a fast paced environment, you will be working on the latest technologies e.g., .net 4.6, WCF, WPF, RabbitMQ, EF, SQL server, Team City etc. The role involves development & support of existing platform and you will get exposure to different business areas of Commodities, e.g. Trade capture Real time risk & position reporting, trade pricing, market risk etc.

The role will involve a degree of ownership, motivation and getting it done attitude. The developers with these personal attributes are highly regarded in the team, and mostly end up working with us for long term.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Build high quality software
• Provide estimates for work & understand regression impact
• Input into the solution design, testability & quality of the software
• Working with business users to understand and enrich requirements
• Get involved in different phases of software development life cycle (requirement, development, testing, deployment, automation etc),
• Development of work items (user story, technical debt etc) and unit tests, and improve quality of existing software
• Provide workarounds & bug fixes for urgent production issues

• WCF, Windows Services, Service Oriented Architecture

We are looking for a Azure Data Engineers to join our skilled and passionate Analytics team of super skilled people, all love working with data. We work together in both small and large teams with people that share the same passion and happiness of delivering phenomenal projects to our clients.

Responsibilities:

You will be working on highly complex projects for some of Europe's most well-known companies, all while developing your own career. The Analytics team consists of people with different backgrounds from Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Data & AI, and BI Development, so we hope you like so be part of a diverse team where everybody has a lot to contribute with - including yourself!

As a data engineer you will:

· Design and build modern data pipelines and data streams

· Design and build data service APIs

· Expose data to end users using Power BI, Azure API Apps or other modern visualization platform or experience

· Analyze current business practices, processes and procedures and identify future opportunities for leveraging Microsoft Azure data & analytics PaaS services.

· Support the planning and implementation of data platform services including sizing, configuration, and needs assessment

· Implement effective metrics and monitoring processes

· Work as a trusted advisor to our clients

Quliafications:

· Minimum 2 years of experience with ETL tools, Databricks, SQL, SSAS & T-SQL

· Great understanding of Lambda architecture patterns

· Experience with data visualization using Power BI, SAS VA, and Power Pivot

· Tabular models (DAX) in Visual Studio

· Strong in data Governance, including Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality tools and processes

· Good understanding of Azure

Experience with one or more of these technologies would definitely be a benefit:

· U-SQL.

· Python
