I saw a cookery show where a chef working at home had this transparent box for all his herbs and spices, which cost him $26.

Loose herb and seasoning containers have always been kryptonite to my OCD.

Quick trip to “Home Bargains“.

Got this for £1. Absolutely perfect.

Coffee and pastry in , the heart of ‘Leftie’ country, and what a wonderful neighbourhood. Everybody seems so chilled and relaxed. Kind of place you’d like to live if you could afford it.

Also for some reason the latte cup seems to have no handle. I have no idea why.

And the pastry is a sweet danish with maple syrup and bacon, probably the best invention ever.

That moment when you discover a new coffee shop that you’ve ridden past a dozen times and the decor and ambience inside is just *mwah*. I could sit here for hours. I won’t, because I can’t, but if I could, I definitely would.

My plan for Saturday morning is going perfectly so far. Drop cycle off at the bike shop for a little bit of work: a cheeky latte: an hour or two of kayaking while the work is done: because the bike shop, the coffee shop and the marina are all in the same place. Awesome planning.
