So:

You post a beautiful concert clip, and a day later far fewer people have seen it than usual.

That is not you doing something wrong.

Every major platform has stopped showing your posts to people simply because they follow you - it now shows them to whoever seems most likely to enjoy them, follower or not.

This means that a SHARE is worth far more than a LIKE ♥️

Most streaming software was built for one song, by one artist. A classical recording carries a composer, a soloist, a conductor, an orchestra, and multiple movements...

The music, and the data behind the music, are two different products. The second one decides whether anyone ever hears the first.

None of the fix is technical, it's a question of care: full work titles, consistent spelling, credits in the right fields, and a proper pitch to Spotify a week before release.

Could someone who cannot use a mouse actually book a ticket on your website?

For a lot of arts organisations, the honest answer is no. Around one in five people live with some form of disability. Add glare, a broken wrist or a noisy commute, and the number grows fast. An inaccessible website is a missed sale before anyone has heard a note.

The fix is smaller than it sounds. Alt text, real link text, colour contrast, a site that works from the keyboard alone. Swipe through for six practical checks you can run this week. A new home on the internet for Sergey Akimov 🎶

Earlier this year, Sergey was named the winner of our website giveaway with The Violin Channel, and our Creative Studio set to work designing a digital home that matched his artistic range.

Sergey is a Berlin-based conductor working across classical symphonic repertoire, contemporary ensemble music, opera and large-scale crossover projects. Standard template sites rarely do justice to a career with that breadth.

Our Creative Studio designed and built a bespoke website that brings his repertoire, media, biography and upcoming performance calendar together in one refined space.
