Honda Ireland has been announced as sponsor of Today with David McCullagh RTÉ Radio 1, weekdays 9am – 11am.

Brokered by WPP Media, the sponsorship consists of 6 x 10-second sponsor-credited stings every weekday morning and sponsor-credited promos in Morning Ireland, Liveline, Brendan O’ Connor, The Louise Duffy Show and Inside Sport as well listen back sponsorship and homepage sponsorship.

Michael Moore Car Sales Athlone has begun construction of its new Mercedes-Benz MAR2OX showroom. The MAR20X retail concept is Mercedes-Benz AG's global standard for a digitally integrated, customer-centric experience. This follows on from MSL Motor Group's plan to open a similar showroom in Dublin's North City Business Park.

NAPA Auto Parts UK & Ireland has announced their acquisition of Carrick-on-Shannon Motor Factors Limited. Operating from a single site, the business generates annual sales of €2.2 million.

The acquisition brings The NAPA Network in the Republic of Ireland to no less than 16 branches.

Tipperary-based Slattery's Garage (Puckane) has been appointed an official dealer for Citroën. This brings Citroën's Irish dealer network to 26 locations nationwide. At present, the cars are being sold Slattery's existing Puckane base, with a dedicated showroom at a dedicated new site in Nenagh set to open next month.

Speaking on the appointment, Michael Slattery, Dealer Principal at Slattery’s Garage, commented: "We are thrilled to represent the Citroën brand as we commence an exciting new chapter in our new premises. The striking design and comfort of the Citroën passenger car range will only reinforce our product offering to our customers, as well as the van range of Berlingo, Dispatch, Relay and a host of car-derived vans".

Last weekend saw the FIA European Rallycross Championship return to Ireland for the first time in over 30 years.

Andreas Bakkerud of Bergen Motorsport Evolution emerged victorious at Mondello Park, claiming his 2nd victory of the 2026 season. The Norwegian commented favourably on the venue: "I've loved racing here, it's such a great place - and we've tried our best to put on a great show".

The Donnelly Group, which represents no less than 22 vehicle manufacturers across 9 locations in Northern Ireland, has announced that it is anticipating further growth in its business after the successful opening of two new showrooms at Dungannon and Ballymena. The new showrooms represent a £8m investment, part-financed by Danske Bank.

David Sheeran, Managing Director at Donnelly Group, said: "We are pleased with the first months of trading from our new showrooms, which represented a major investment in growth by the business. The opening of the new showrooms marks the next chapter for Donnelly Group as we continue to invest in our people, our facilities and our customers".

3. Workshop efficiency remains a key priority, with organisations looking for better ways to manage servicing, scheduling and maintenance.
4. Access to accurate, real-time data is becoming essential for making faster, more informed decisions.
5. Digital transformation is no longer a future goal. It's happening now, and organisations are looking for practical solutions that deliver measurable value.
