Ever wondered what it actually takes to work out the carbon footprint of a circuit board? There's no meter for that.

We break every product down to its bill of materials: every PCB, capacitor and connector weighed and mapped against the ecoinvent database. Then we work with LCA specialists to build a bottom-up picture of embodied carbon, from raw materials to manufacturing and distribution.

It's painstaking work, but it means our Scope 3 numbers are grounded in real data, not industry averages, and it shows us exactly where to focus to build greener products.

Hands up if you know what Dijkstra’s algorithm does... or even is?

In the 1950s, Dutch computer scientist Edsger Dijkstra developed a route-finding algorithm so important that, 70 years later, it is still part of the computer science curriculum.
