It's 'dejavu' all over again!

Come on England!!

An ode to the Lionesses

Once again the final comes around, Lionesses made it through,
We'd be lying if we said, we hadn't had a doubt or two!
Spain awaits them once again, kitted out in Red and Yellow,
World champions, 'La Furia Roja', England hope they're feeling mellow!

England hopes their form has changed, they're not so good this time,
'Cause they will need a lot of luck, to make it over the line!,
I suspect they'll simply 'park the bus', and hope for a lucky break,
Or retain so much possession, that the Spanish make mistakes.

History was made last time, in that world final overseas,
But, as everybody knows, England's fans are hard to please,
They won't care if a Penalty shoot out, is the only way to win,
Ghosts of the past, laid to rest, 'that cup's coming home' again!

Customers - please be aware that the UK's Mobile Networks and BT landline are having major outages - this is affecting our customers in the same way it is affecting everybody - Our systems are working but the mobile operators are not then delivering the calls to you.

Sorry...see BT website for details (p.s. NOT just affecting BT and EE!!)

To celebrate Father's Day heres a little Rhyme!

An Ode To Dads On Father's Day

Daddies mean fun, mummies mean business,
Or so that old saying goes,
Dads can be their child's best friend,
With Mum being the ones to say No!

Good Dads, one day, become Fathers,
The difference is subtle yet clear,
They try hard to teach by example,
Give guidance, with the odd gentle steer.

Some Fathers give what is called 'tough love',
Maybe losing that friendship, short term,
They risk their children drifting away,
Hope one day they'll understand and return.

So if you ask your Dad for a 'wish list',
He'll say, he doesn't need a thing,
But deep in his heart, what he really wants,
Is you to show you appreciate him.

So go pick up the phone on Sunday,
Make a voice call to him, one to one,
Make sure he hears your voice on the day,
Say you love him for all that he's done.

An Ode To The Exiles

It doesn’t matter where on earth they are,
Because they love to roam,
Whenever they mention Ireland,
They always call it ‘Home’

Regardless how long they’ve been away,
Even for many years,
Mention Red Lemonade or Tayto crisps,
Their eyes will fill with tears.

It’s not their pride in it's historic past,
Or breath-taking scenery,
It’s because its where their heart is,
And its ‘home’ to their family,

So on the seventeenth of March,
Spare a thought for those in exile,
And raise a pint to St Patrick,
patron saint of the Emerald Isle.
