Most schools (and businesses) are making this harder — and more expensive — than it needs to be.

We are seeing the same issues time and time again with schools looking for support with their hall AV systems;

🙄 The audio isn't working
😏 The amp's unreliable because of being accidentally tampered with
🤨 The bluetooth from parent's phones is interferring with the audio set-up

The list goes on!!

School halls are used daily for assemblies, presentations and performances, but the technology often isn’t designed for how it’s actually used.

Last term, we shared the story of Roundwood Primary School and how we installed a simple AV system that improved sound coverage and made it easy for staff to run assemblies and events.

Our DBS-certified engineers regularly work in schools and plan installations around lessons to minimise disruption, which is why many schools choose the summer term for upgrades.

Not every installation goes exactly to plan. 🔧

At , a window was sitting right where the screen needed to be installed, so our engineers built a wooden batten frame to create a strong mounting point and ensure the screen could still be fitted securely.

Don’t let faulty equipment compromise your site security. 🔒

We were called out to investigate a .net2 Paxlock Pro door handle unit that had stopped working correctly. After inspecting the system, our engineer confirmed the unit needed replacing under the manufacturer’s warranty, which we arranged for the customer.

Our Service Level Agreements help keep systems running smoothly with regular servicing, helping to reduce the chances of unexpected issues. And if something does go wrong, our contract customers receive a 10% discount on call-out charges.

While the team were on site, this local resident decided to pop by and see what we were up to. He kept a close eye on the progress, had a good look around, and then clocked off for a nap.
