Our longest wireless bridge yet!

We've just completed our latest project which involved establishing a 2km wireless bridge between our clients two farm properties. The existing fast Starlink internet connection that we previously installed has now been extended to this second location where an additional wireless network has been setup for the residents.

An emergency call out to Bute to help a new customer who’s Starlink had been blown off the wall due to its exposed location and poor quality materials. She had guests staying at her AirBnB this week and we installed our custom storm proof mount and got her back up and running.

Our latest project at the Glencruitten House hotel in Oban!

Phase 1 was installing a custom fibre optic network to the newly built luxury villas that would accommodate the distances between properties. Then, provision WiFi points in each.

We are now just completing phase 2 which consists of the brain of the system - a fully managed network based in the main house along with integrated CCTV and upgraded WiFi points throughout. Oh, and....a fully customised digital phone system with handsets in each room. Guests can now walk throughout the property and grounds enjoying high speed internet both internally and externally and....call room service :-)

More Starlink installations this week! Most recent customer had a deep overhanging soffit so we made a custom fit bracket to accomodate his property and which still offers him that sturdy storm proof guarantee 😀

Another solid Starlink installation complete and ready for our first winter storm. This one included additional DATA cabling to a home office providing full 300mbps of speed to a remote corner of the home.

A game changer for Starlink is coming!

Starlink has quietly announced that they are soon to introduce shared connections.

This means that two or more properties can have their own accounts, have their own WIFI networks but...share the one dish. The beauty of this means that the cost is divided between all. This makes it an even more affordable solution. Ideal for apartment buildings or close neighbours.

Another Starlink installation.....another beautiful location! This time it was up a forest track in the mountains. We also ran a custom DATA cable along the outside side of the property and into the far end of the cottage allowing the customer to extend his WIFI range and, connect other devices to the super-fast internet that their Starlink now provides.
