⏰ Full Time (Monday – Thursday 8am–5pm, Friday 8am–11:30am)

Charcroft Electronics is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Llay.

This hands-on role is predominantly mechanical, with some electrical fault-finding, supporting the maintenance and improvement of specialist production equipment used in the manufacture of our film capacitors.

We're looking for someone who:
✔ Has maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing
✔ Enjoys problem solving and fault finding
✔ Has strong mechanical skills with some electrical knowledge
✔ Works well both independently and as part of a team

Kelbie joins us as Sales Office Manager in Llanwrtyd Wells, helping strengthen our support for customers in some of the most demanding industries. Richard joins as Business Development Manager covering the UK & Ireland, bringing over 13 years’ experience and a real passion for building strong customer relationships (plus he’s a loyal Cardiff City fan!).

As we head towards the end of December, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on one of the real highlights of the month — our Charcroft Christmas Challenge Days 🙌

What fantastic days they were! Full of teamwork, laughter, great food and even better company. The feedback from our team has been brilliant, and it was wonderful to see everyone getting involved and enjoying time together away from the day-to-day.

A huge thank you goes to Dave Jones and his wonderful partner Wendy, who put so much time, thought and energy into organising the days. Also, special thank you to The Steakboxx for keeping everyone very well fed! 🥩🔥

Finally, thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the days such a success, this is what makes the Charcroft team so special.

Yesterday (11th December) the Charcroft team swapped spreadsheets for Christmas jumpers to raise money for Save the Children 🎅🎄
